One of the most haunting accounts related to the Sewol, for me, is the tragic demise of Jeongin and his girlfriend Sujin Kim. They tied themselves together out of fear of losing each other in the chaos. Sadly, they both perished. May they rest in peace. You conveyed this tragic disaster extremely well thank you miss👍🏽👍🏽
This disaster basically made my blood boil it happened two years after the Costa Concordia disaster, to which it was still fresh in our minds about Captain incompetence, putting their own safety first instead of it's passengers. When I said this episode would make your blood boil, I meant it literally.
Great channel! I like your matter of fact delivery and good measure of perkiness for such a serious topic. Have you thought about a video on the Pricnipessa Mafalda?
This ship has so many frustrating things that are just mind-boggling. Next week will be even more frustrating, I fear! But it's good we are bringing more awareness to the disaster and her victims! Cheers, friend!
There was a ship kinda like this one that had a collision with an American Nuclear sub near Hawaii and sank rapidly. There were school children on the ship too
@@shipwrecksunday it used to be on TH-cam but it disappeared a long while back wich makes me think the navy has something to do with the video disappearing
@@shipwrecksunday yeah the captain of the US sub called for an emergency blow wich shot it to the surface within a minute or two and it struck this vessel with school kids aboard. the school kid vessel sank really quick. What chaps my ass is the sub captain was trying to impress there families wich were aboard the sub for a family/civilian outing
@@johnmoss8230 update, my friend! I believe I found the incident, and it was the collision of USS Greeneville and the fishing education ship Ehime Maru! There is information out there on it so I will be looking into it!

Yes literally!! The second half is just as infuriating, too! This story almost had me throwing my computer monitor.
If I’m getting ready to sail and I find out the captain is paid only $2000 a month I’m not getting on board.
Right? That's sketchy!
Alright E, brick immortar would never mention Nirvana. so far so good. Next week is the heavy lifting…
Love me some grunge! Next week will be the really hard part. This week was a timeline, next week is the real anger, shock, and controversy!
Thanks again friend.
Thank you! Great to see you again! Cheers!

😂first Hi Elinor🖐️ Very good episode
I can always count on you, Rick! Cheers, friend!! Thanks so much!
I’ve never heard of using temps as crew besides servers on a dining yacht, or the moonlighting captain or mate on a tug.

It's a very sad story!
This scumbag captain makes Schettino look like a hero.
FOR REAL!!!!
Rules for Asian ferries: if it ant broke… FIX IT AND FIX IT HAS FAST AND CHEAPLY AS YOU CAN!
That sadly seems to be the motto for a lot of these!
