While choosing, the right destination for your first international trip, an important thing that you should consider is PPP (Purchasing Power Parity), it is a better way to compare the cost of living and the economic strength of currencies. While in some countries like Japan, the yen may appear weaker than the rupee in exchange rate terms, Japan's cost of goods and services is much higher, making it an expensive country overall. Another example is South Korean Won (KRW), 1INR = 16.63 KWR (as of Nov 2024), but the cost of living in South Korea is higher compared to India. This is why exchange rates alone don't tell which countries are relatively cheaper compared to India.

Data is us barely tryin comprehend a fraction of what exists, which is the entirety of our life and more. Let alone the entirety of existence, ie the history of the universe and it's destiny, or supposed heat death, we barely have enough info about our history, and nor will we ever gave enough info on our future, until the time comes.
How can data be bigger than Allah, the creator of all that exists, seen or unseen (unseen means distant past, future, angels, demons, heaven, hell , etc.. things we can barely perceive. ) ?

If you haven’t been to Ladakh you should definitely go on a road trip to Ladakh
Not just Leh but all major cities in Ladakh like Padum hanle pangonk etc.
pangonk has a great view of stars and of pangonk lake which is half in India and half in china
You will see many borders on this trip
    Great experience
    No visa needed
    No brokerage
    No toll plaza in Ladakh
    Every location is iconic
Prefer a road trip but if you go Leh by flight book a bike there for 7-8 days and roan Ladakh
Easy trip easy planning not costly if compared to any foreign trip
I visited Ladakh this year and I really want to go there again next year
Really good vibes every person on road helps you
    BTW
Road to Ladakh is not always open
Plan the trip but not too hard as you may have to change your plans

Would like to add here that it is advisable to carry dollars from india and exchange that into the local currently when you land at the destination country. Reason being, you may or maynot get the local currently directly in India. Even if you get it here somehow, if there is excess left you may not be able to sell it back in India if there are no buyers. With dollars you are safe. This is what we did for our Bali trip.

    Lots of wrong information given:
    1) Exchange rates has nothing to do with understanding how cheap or costly a country will be. India’s currency is stronger that Japan’s, per the exchange rate. That doesn’t mean Japan is cheaper than India. Cost is a function of the quality of services provided, the country’s GDP per capita, and the demand and supply curve.
    2) UPIs are available in many foreign countries. It is just that we cannot use it as UPI requires to be connected to a local bank account.

Vietnam is not cheaper, rather affordable.
Everything is in thousand vietnami dong. So effectively 1000 dong is the smallest denomination, mostly.
    1000 dong =3.3 INR in 2017.
Took me 50000 to travel for 2 months excluding exit flight and a second hand bike purchase. Entry was through a bus from Laos.
