  • Travel nursing is an amazing experience, it allows you to get used to the challenge of adapting to new environments as well as challenges as a nurse all while getting to see new places. Although travel nursing can be awesome if you have the right support system, it also comes with many challenges that a lot of people tend to overlook and that, many nurses avoid speaking about but, in today's video, I go into all the travel nursing tea where we will explore both sides of travel nursing and everything it comes with .

I'm not a travel nurse but on the unit where I work I have seen staff nurses ignore agency nurses when they ask for help

Hi Nurse Key I am on my way to become a CNA in the state of Maryland and have experienced toxic work environments and hater coworkers that dont want to include you in but I found a way to overcome by communicating anyway and directly ask them questions to break that toxic mess ..you are right we are dealing with people lives..♥️ Thanks for sharing 👍🏾

I am a travel/ agency LPN in Alberta for over a year now; and I will say all you mentioned is true. The worst part is when they ignore your questions like you donot even exist. “ I am here to help you, I am not here for your job. And if you have issues with my pay, take it out with your management”. Nurses can be very petti, that’s why I donot take contracts longer than 4 weeks. That’s the most I can endure humans.😊

Tell me about it, if I can even get a two week assignment, that’s even better because sometimes four weeks is even too much 🤦🏽‍♀️

Love the video, everything you said was absolutely right, I've experienced that as a travel CNA,it can be discouraging at the least.

I work in the staffing side of this industry and it’s always great to hear from nurses in it so I can learn more about your side of the workforce ❤

Girl I was literally just a STUDENT completing my placement as a psw in home and the amount of cattiness I tell u from the nurses and the other psw’s there. Omg! Next thing u know I was being asked so many questions by management and all bc of the drama that went on there! I agree the cliques and the rudeness that goes on in this field is crazyy🤯

I’m sorry you had to go through that. You would think that “professional adults” would act as such but it’s really a bunch of kids in scrubs

I'm not even finished nursing school yet lol. The pettiness of professors and other nursing students was really exhausting. I had to take a break and I'm actually thinking of switching schools because there was so much cattiness, it was so difficult to do group work. What I eat doesn't make other people shit and I'll never get why so many nursing students act like this...
Proud of your growth!! You're still inspiring me to continue pursuing my nursing career.

Yesss I felt it in nursing school too . Tbh, it doesn’t matter where you go. Nursing is à predominantly female field and you know what happens when you put a bunch of women together lol. Just keep your head up and focus on finishing.
      Thank you 🤍🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
