RDR 2 still beats modern games and RDR 1 has a lot of awesome details that was way ahead of its time. Rockstar always strives for Quality over quantity making games way ahead of their time
You're right, but I think the details in the Gta V game are a bit disappointing because there aren't as many details as those given in the RDR Series games
Fun fact Dutch’s character model in rdr1 is different when he is dead instead of it being normal with blood half his face is ripped off and one of his arms has a bone hanging out of it the model is still used but it’s impossible to see because Dutch’s face is face first in the snow
The campfire one though is one of the few things this game does better than RDR2. Just let me hang out with strangers at their campfire don't try and shoot me :(

Another detail is that people react 100% like in a western movie when you shoot them, thanks to the well tuned euphoria engine which is used in this game to create the physics. Fun fact, the same enigne is used in GTA5 and RDR2 but its downgraded and rudimentary used because R* is focussing on graphics and pre canned animations... What a shame!
If enemies are on their knees then you can run up to them and press the shoot button to perform a special kill animation using your currently equipped weapon. :-)
Wrong, my friend. Rdr2 only has the boring drunk preset walking animation when you're drunk. It has nothing to do with physics. But, when you're drunk in Rdr1, Euphoria physics come into play. So it's not preset animation. You are trying to walk with a dynamic Euphoria physics. So if there is an obstacle on the ground or the ground is sloped, you will fall.
They can’t really continue the story since by then the Wild West was tamed. They are probably going to make another prequel about the van der linde gang or maybe a new character entirely
RDR 3 with young Dutch. Story: Have the whole story of Dutch, from his time with O'Driscoll, meeting Hosea, forming the gang, taking it Arthur and John etc. All leading up to Blackwater. By the end of the game you can switch between three characters: Dutch and Arthur Setting: Take place in the west, have california or new western locations
