One day I'll be back on the market to look for another DAP if/when my Fiio M11 dies BUT I got the M11 mainly because it has 2 SD card slots (I have a very large music collection that only fits on 2 SD cards) Now Fiio are making out that its hard to make a 2 SD card slot DAP that works with Android (Even though they managed to achieve that because of the M11 and I own a few devices that have 2 SD card slots running Android) So Fiio have put me in a position where I don't know what to buy once the M11 dies so its good to see your reviewing DAP's too.
Bought a hiby r3 pro sabre1 year ago and sounds fantastic. bought a second hiby r3 pro sabre black Friday 2021 direct from hiby and sounds totally different. what a disappoint! The sound is bloated and not sharp. It sounds worse than a cell phone. I highly question the quality of hiby with a bait and switch. I have experience with many iems. I have iems such as og monarch, Clairvoyance, mele, Olina, fh3, urbanfun, legacy3, voyager 3, live 3, tc-01 and others. Also have shanling q1, m6 pro, and the sabres.
Hello, what is the difference between Hiby R5 Gen II and a mobile phone (e.g. samsung, apple) in terms of music quality? Is it worth buying Hiby R5 II?

Hi sir, does this hiby r5 gen2 sounds better than a smartphone even in economy mode? I do have a hiby r3 pro but I want to upgrade to this hiby r5 gen2. Is it worth the upgrade even if I don't turn on the class A amp? Thanks so much

Yes if you want a dedicated music player and this dap has a very neutral source if you are ok with that.

It last more than 12 hours definitely and once I reach home I will charge it.

It’s both different, r5 is more neutral sounding while the hip dac is warmer
Why does the device you paid billions of dollars for slow down?
It needs to have at least UFS 3.0 storage. It's ridiculous to use emmc, pay so much money, the interface is very heavy.
