Very much educative .. but according to me first step should be checking at nearby hospitals which cashless company does that hospital have a tie up .

Most of the health insurance companies are rejecting the claim by making some quire, IRDA should provide some strict rules and penalties for this..from the time of admission of the patient.. J. The insurance company itself under the supervision of its own men. Himself.. for the claim.. prepare the file.. so that.. no inquiry comes.

After watching the whole video I can't understand why hdfc ergo been in top 3 as it doesn't have even OPD benefits and why they don't include Aditya Birla which is good in every aspect
Simple, Aditya Birla isn't partnered with Ditto and hence they have no incentive in promoting it. That said, HDFC Ergo does have the highest settlement rates among all the insurers and their claims experience is better than most. This becomes the most critical factor when buying an insurance because at the end of the day, if you get all kinds on coverage on paper but the insurer doesn't pay up when you raise a claim, what even is the point of these coverages in the first place. So, that's why HDFC Ergo demands a premium compared to other insurers and is rightfully ranked among the best.
Aditya birla has high rejection rate. If you want opd, Tata is the best.

Good one sister. But why dont you cover one more selection criteria which is the most important. The ease of claim, customer support. Toll free calling number responsiveness. Quick turn around to customer queries, etc. This is what a family will expect out of a insurer
What about the claim process? online or offline? How much time do they take to settle the claims ? I think these criteria are also very important to make the right choice!

It is definitely a decent plan, but ACKO is a fairly new player in the market and we are yet to see how they deal with claims in the future.

I was an insurance holder of Max Bupa(currently known as niva Bupa) I was paying premium from 4 years with no single claim...but in 2023 I had sever throat infection and fever so I had to admit in hospital...it has facility of cashless treatment and very first day I informed the insurer... but they reject my claim saying you should have not to admit in hospital... you can be cured at home...now I have lost faith ok insurance company
Never ever buy from policy bazaar because they didn't help in behalf of you and we have to call many time's for help of claim & don't buy Aditya Birla because they decline your claim after getting every report's, because their team decide and don't trust your reports or doctor treatment.....
All premium they're eating of innocent people in India and no big authority taking actions against them.....
