If you want to reduce the lean hit you can try running a really short fuel line from the solenoid to nozzle and run a long line from the nitrous solenoid to the nozzle also for a softer hit on the trans with a bigger shot don’t purge before use
Great content as always! If I remember correctly, nitrous undergoes phase change to liquid very roughly around 700 psi at room temperature, so the pressure reading on the tank may not be a good indicator of how much nitrous you actually have left.
Well guys, Greg here, I blew the nos motor and now we return to your normal +500whp programming with billet main caps that will survive another 20 pulls before going to da MOON
If you can get a set of aftermarket tuner cams, a set of dual valve springs with aftermarket retainers, and you can rev that thing out it'll REALLY shine!
Me too! I told a couple people it would help me a little during the traffic light dances. They scoffed and I pushed it off to the side. It’s back on the table. It’s got to be even better with the ITB singing. It can be set up with my Megasquirt as a dry system.
Greg, where would I find your expertise on the proper way to adjust the idle on a stock NA? I have a very erratic idle, warm or cold. I do the ten pin to ground bit. Set the RPM at 850 or so. Adjust the timing via a timing light at 12° with thE Crank angle sensor and still it will not settle down. I have checked for bad temperature sender at the ECU plus checked to see if the Throttle body Sensor switch is functioning properly and the factory paint on the adjustment appears un tampered with. I thought it was crazy when someone suggested a water temp sensor would affect the idle but the big boss ECU must know all the engine parameters or it can get confused too. As far as I know the “No Touch” throttle body stop screw is still at factory settings. I did not do the feeler gauge check during the functionality check of the throttle body switch circuitry. This might be a vacuum leak but who knows where. Help me Dad! 1990 NA stocker.
Haha..its addictive. I popped my motor with a 75shot (lifted the head) ran great for a fair while though and the engine was not fully built. Actually it was probably a little bit bigger than a 75 as the jet added about 90HP. anyhoo..next engine almost back together and built this time 😁
Hey Greg love the videos off topic to the video but I have a 94 miata that I've been building for a while now. A little issue it has is the fuel pump doesnt prime at all in the on position like it should but when I crank the motor it does prime it and it instantly dies because of no fuel pressure. But then it will run after it builds it up. I checked the relay for it and checked to make sure the ignition switch was working properly and also checked voltage and everything is fine so I'm out of ideas anything helps lol.
God that is so sick. I can't even imagine how the gap sauce would work on the back roads with some twit on my tail.....I've already kept with some cars, on the Twisties, I have no right to, but man with a shot. Fuck dude!!!!! 😂
Also another thing burst disk for your bottle is more then likely 3k psi next time have the bottle refilled as them if they can change it to 2k or less since even then that’s still high.
this is super rad bro and great to see ... now for the future of 2SJ ..... cant weight brotha ... peace n love craig keep it rad stay safe and build on ... ps this kinda maken me think of this along with water/meth injection on my build 🤔 🤔 lol..... l8z bro love the content
Greg, can we get some intake air temperature recordings with that new intake and whatever you were running before? I'm triggered by the current intake. If it were mine, i would find a way to pull air from the inner fender or down towards the ground. Just watch for heavy rain and puddles. Nitros is like a turbo... That runs out😆
Weight the bottle that’s the only way to tell how much you have, not by psi. But give better idea I spray a little more on a 2.5lb bottle and get 4 1/4 passes.
This looks awesome!.. thank you for sharing! .. When you do the comparison with off/on at 13:xx .. it looks like you have a repeated hesitation somewhere between 6000-64000rpm and sometimes also at about 6800rpm.. do you have any jumps/quick changes there in your VE/IGN/VVT-maps?..
This looked pretty unimpressive on video up until the side-by-side comparison. I still don't like the idea of having to refill your horsepower, but I bet it's a lot of fun.
I guess you can't look at Nos the same way you look at going turbo/supercharged. It's more of a fun thing to use now and then rather than a total change to your car?
I’m in Fontana Ca. I need help with my 04 Mazda speed Miata 6 speed trans. Who can I call for help? Matt from Flyin Miata can’t help. PS love your channel.
You know you want to try a 100 shot.. Assuming the stock engine is good for 240bhp, or does nitrous come in so quick the shock would bend the rods or break the gearbox? If so, any way of bringing in the nos progressively?
@@Parker_white_guy good ecu's have nitrous controls, even a megasquirt2 has nitrous and me221 and 442 doesnot... nitrous can be progresive in percentage of opening just like petrol injector
Probably best to direct the purge away from the windscreen. Hot glass+cold purge = cracked windscreen.
honestly does glass even get that hot? it's not like he's got a hood dump
The natural airflow over the windscreen probably keeps it fairly cool I'd guess, but that's purely speculative
Too late, I already cracked it 🤣🤣🤣

The car is so insane and it sounds so good when the nitro comes on omg
I'm not even driving and I'm over here grinning like I just added some sauce to my car. Great time.
This is awesome, looking forward to seeing the dyne results!! Keep it up man
With progressif nitrous controller. I spray 100shot. I love nitrous on miata.
When looking at the speedometer when it comes on looks like honda vtec, love it.
With such a small shot it gives me vtec vibes
Dude stoked to see you so happy !!
I used to run a 75 shot nitrous on my 90 na at miatas at the gap. That was fun.
Go for the 75! Thats what I have in my NB. It eats it up and wants more, but I need a bigger fuel pump to get more fuel in at the same time
do you know if super cold canadian weather causes any safety risks with a bottle?
This was the most fun video yet. You are my Sam Malone of the miata world; keep up the great work!
Big difference, that top end is beautiful, well done dude
Definitely looking forward to the next video.
Hold on other youtube video, Greg just posted
FOR REAL
Who’s Greg, this is Crags channel
Please make a 1 hour compilation of pulls. This shit is music.
Hahaha that sounds way better than "Smash Mouth - All Star [10 Hours]"
Amazing! You could use the multimap option with the nos switch and have the full ignition advance on N/A and a reduced one for NOS.
Huzzah! Congrats on pulling it off man!
Nice job. It rips as good as it looks.
Sometimes a worn ignition key assembly will do that too. I had one word when I push the clutch in it made the starter startup
So great to watch, the nitrous makes it look like VTec, maybe a 50 shot is the equivalent of a K24Z3 hahah!
I run a 50 and it’s probably close.
Awesome, can't wait to see the bigger injectors
Well. I’m sold. Time to get creative on fitting this with ITBs
Great content as always! If I remember correctly, nitrous undergoes phase change to liquid very roughly around 700 psi at room temperature, so the pressure reading on the tank may not be a good indicator of how much nitrous you actually have left.
You are incredible! Can't wait for the next video to come out
Niceee! Don’t blow the welds on the intake
That is impossible, there is no pressure in there
Good call not getting greedy YET with th 50 shot. I blew the motor in my FC with a 75. It was also a dry kit a d I was dumb back then 😆.
Jack Cecil from Hp Logic. He is in Florida. He does remote tuning look him up his reviews speak for them selves.
Awesome! Can’t wait to see the dyno video.
So happy for this build, you don't see many NOS miat setups. Everyone just thinks compound turbo is the way :)
Omg I love it Grege, keep up the great work.
Love the energy Greg. What paint is that on the valve cover? Love it against the black bay. Looking forward to next monday
Love a good pull ha ha ha
When is the na turbo getting nitrous??????
Fascinating.
Timing reduction 2 degree/ 50hp; also could adjust activation to =or>3000
Work can wait! Miata dad in with a nitrous Miata!!
Well guys, Greg here, I blew the nos motor and now we return to your normal +500whp programming with billet main caps that will survive another 20 pulls before going to da MOON
Interesting that you're seeing significant gains 500 rpm before the nitrous activation of 4700 rpm. Great vid!
Sweet results
Always amazing content! Thanks Greg!
That was a cool video man!
I cannot wait to see you hit that 50 or 75.. do 1 run in a race and start to loose then flip the switch "Too Soon Junior" BOOM!
Always an honor to be able to watch greg’s crazy handiwork.

I get the springs, but I was curious as to why you'd also aftermarket retainers? Would you need to machine them down to fit each valve?
Titanium retainers :) rev even smoother and not much extra cost
Greg, what have you done?! Now I can't decide whether to go turbo or nitrous on my NB! 😭
X2
Do both and Just push the engine 'till It blows up
@@tisdrumo9899 big turbo and use nitrous to spool it up.
Turbo for sure... Filling bottles gets old and expensive. Turbo is power 100% of the time
Are you going to try to remedy the lean spike with the fuel table? Car sounds sick. It's like a turbo but it comes with a weekly subscription fee
So sick!! Can't wait to see this on the dyno. got me thinking if i could add this to my ITB setup! keep up the wicked work greg.

He'll yeah Greg keep her up!
Awesome video, keep them coming!
Am I the only one that spent the whole video waiting for the danger to manifold clip to be slipped in?
VTEC just kicked in yo!
Thank you man!
Yesssss Miata Monday with Gregg

When did you put the Sparco into the NB? Love the videos, thanks for all the info!
Miata dad is baaack!
So amazing. I’m watching this thinking.. should I just sell my ND and use the money to build a nitrous nb/c
Why the choice of spark plug bkr7e more than zfr6f ?

this is so sick!!!
Hi Greg, any news about the red one?? Did you find out what the noise was??
Changing ignition timing won't change your AFR.
Please get some reactions from people when you purge. Would make a really funny video
"so, lets go do a pull..." video immediately goes to a bowel movement commercial...
Lemme know when you wanna line em up again 😁
I'll flash back to stock on the FiST hahaha
Then we can see how it does against Cobb Stage 1 too 👀
