The only use he is making of his therapy is to manipulate others. It's the children's food, and you have every right to "withhold" it. He's fine with "withholding food" from his children when they want more. He's fine with "withholding food" from his hardworking wife who won't have anything else to eat as a result. You are NTA for this. But it sounds to me like these shenanigans of his might be bordering on child abuse, and you are letting it happen. Stop worrying about him, and think about whether staying with him is a good thing for your children and yourself. It doesn't sound like it to me.
