Goalies are broken. He only had one exceptional season in his whole career while being 99 overall. Whats even the point to get a great goalie in this game if a 85 overall one gets the same stat.

I assume he had the sim engine scoring on high. No goalie is going to sim well on that setting

@@lucifermorningstar3709 even on Medium scoring the goalies don’t sim very well. Something they have to fix for nhl 22. NHL 20 and NHL 21 goalies have been broken

@@centralhockey12 they sim realistically though. After playing the game for awhile during the off-season last year, I had it on medium, but the goalies, like you said, were still doing badly, so I changed it to low, just to see, and they started being more realistic. But then the actually nhl season started, and I realized how rare something like a .930 SV% is, like an nhl goalie, through the entire regular season, will pretty much never be able to maintain that. About half of the starters around the league will have .914-.918 at the end of the season, and a select few will have .920 - .925. I think really we just forget what’s realistic. It sucks when our goalie gets a .915 but it’s still pretty realistic. Sorry for the tangent, but to me it seems a lot more realistic on sim engine medium, including the player point totals as well

@@lucifermorningstar3709 yeah but I think the point is how he only had a couple off the charts good season that matched the level of prime Price. And the thing is, price was like a 93 overall when he had stellar season and this guy is 99 so should be able to do that Price did in real life in. Price posted a .933 svp and 1.96 GAA on a okay team. This guy was posting similar seasons to other goalies in the sim basically making the point, why get a 99 overall when he performs the same as a 90? The goalie ratings don't translate well I find to how they perform in the sim

I know this one could be difficult, but I think doing 2 goalies in one sim with one super tall 99 and one super short 99 would be cool. See how height changes their career totals

Definitely Franchise. He probably takes over one of the top teams that has no chance at drafting Tino and lets the AI control all owner/GM decisions.
