This video features Souq Waqif on a busy Friday morning, a rare occurrence in Souq Waqif Doha, since this old souq is usually busy only at night time. Thus, you can just imagine how lively and busy it is during the night. I will try to film the Souq on a night time soon.
Owing to the influx of tourists due to Asian Cup, this specific Friday morning witnessed a lot of tourists from different parts of the world. It is a nice and exhilirating experience to see a lot of people hussling and buzzling about on a usually lazy Friday morning like today. Moreover, I had a nice experience tasting the Hummus and the traditional Karak Tea of one of the hidden coffee shops in the Souq as was suggested by one of my lady friends. Honestly, it was my first time to do this type of unplanned activity. Truly, simple things and unplanned activities are the sometimes and surprisingly, the best and most memorable experiences.
