Honestly, Adams reaction to trying out as manager makes a lot of sense when you remember that last time he became "manager", the power completely consumed him before he was killed.

Seeing the progress made by VLDL over all these skits is amazing, keep up the work! It's great to see everyone's acting skills just getting better and better, and newer actors getting more screen time! Amazing scripting as well, I think we'd all love to see things keep going! ♥♥♥
Now we know where Rowan gets his diabolical nature from his dad put him off on purpose because he wanted him back at the store with him😂 I loved this episode. How the other employees matched Adam Allen and Ellie perfectly😂

I think it's absolutely hilarious that out of everyone, Rowan was the best and most stable manager.
And he does what he does not because he's cruel, but because he has to.

I know it's all laughs but Rowan being made aware it was a series in an early episode genuinely makes me curious as to whether he's just hamming it up and being the worst as a way to escape

The byron skit is the first time i actually laughed out loud and ive seen about 40 of your skits so far. They are all great but that one in perticular is gold and tickles my funny bone.

That "morning" sounded exactly like Baelin accent. I actually thought he might say "nice day for fishin'..." for a sec there.
The strange thing is, at the start of the series the managers were red shirts, so either both companies swapped their uniforms, a retcon happened, or Rowan decided to switch the shirts to be different from his dad's company, only to switch them back.

Idea for bored episode. Rowan makes it very clear that Adam needs to get to work early for a delivery. Waiting by the back door but the phone rings, caught in the dilemma of answering the phone and potentially missing the delivery, or leave the call and get the delivery. Adam takes the call and there’s nobody there, only a few seconds, runs back to the shutters and sees the “sorry we missed you” slip slid under the door. Adam gets in trouble but asked to do it again the day after. The same thing happens, but Adam is quicker but somehow he still misses it. On the 3rd day he tried to be smart and brings the phone with him, waiting by the door, watching the door, the phone rings, as it has every morning, he glances away to answer the phone for a split second, he glances back and sees another “sorry we missed you” slips. Adam screams and camera pans to Ben (who is working for a delivery company) round the corner grinning whilst holding the package holding the phone to his ear listening to Adam screaming in the warehouse.
Alternative ending or second episode, Adam ignores the phone waits for the knock at the door eager to not let the delivery person win and as soon as the door knocks Adam whips it open but there’s nobody there, he closes the door and screaming and then he just sees the “sorry we missed you” slip get slid under the door, he quickly answers the door but there’s nobody there so he screams again.

16:15 some of my favorite moments are when Britt gets really intense and aggressive without getting loud. It's seriously impressive.
Alan breaking character for a second when Byron yelled “stay back!” was amazing. This group is the best.
