Bro, I thought this 10 years ago lol it's so funny when guitarists sit 10 feet away from the camera and are covering their fret board with their whole hand and are like So I'm a master at guitar and you wanna hit this string on this fret you can barely see and then hit here and here, alright moving on... Lol

Thanks for watching and for the positive feedback! Its a pretty simple setup really, just an Ibanez SA guitar, Roland micro cube and mic'ed with an SM57 - with some very light post production like some subtle EQ etc, but all in all very simple! :)

Forgive my ignorance but what are the notes in parentheses? I can’t get that part to sound right and I’ve rewatched that section a billion times trying to sound it out
Why go to 11th and 12th fret on the E when its so much easier to play it on 6th and 7th A string? Just my opinion.
It's a tone thing for me really, the same notes have a little more low frequency content when played on the E string, plus it just makes hitting those notes with the open E an absolute breeze.. I guess I'm a perfectionist when it comes to tone, but ultimately it's down to preference - you can totally play the same notes on 6th and 7th frets on the A string :)
