Flashing up the floorplan diagrams when moving around is such a HELPFUL editing touch, and the overlay on Google maps regarding the floorspace was also so helpful. Really excellent video.
I love how different the vibe is when compared to the videos with Chris. I love his content as well of course, but its just an entirely different style when you are noticing all these little details of the brands and products that most tours wouldn't spot.
For those wondering, this room is over a million yen per night, working out at roughly £7000/$8500 per night (this is after taxes and service charges).
The hotel I worked at had a couple different "Designer" suites. Nothing this elaborate, but 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, about 2000sq ft, big enough to throw a 15 person party. We RARELY charged the "rack rate" of $4000 a night(or whatever it was I don't remember). $2-3k a night sure, but a lot of times the people in those suites were the head person for the convention we had in the hotel(aka they're spending over 6 figures, give them the nice suite). Or celebrities, who often rented out most the rooms right next to that suite, we weren't going to charge them rack rate for renting most of one floor lol.
My favorite hotel I ever stayed at was the Grand Hyatt in Kyoto many many years ago. I still remember that room fondly. Obviously, I was NOT staying in this kind of suite. But, a nice hotel room really does upgrade any trip.
we stayed at the Roku hilton in kyoto a few days ago and it was the best hotel experience i've ever had so far. We had the place all to ourselves, only a handful of guests. The outside geothermally heated pool was fantastic. I have watched videos of the grand hyatt in kyoto and it looks to be on par with the Roku in terms of room size and ammenities
That room (more like entire house in one space!) Is so fancy. The only thing is I don't feel like I could stay long term because it does feel so businesslike. Like I'm imagining business people holding big meetings in the living area. That pool is really standout, and takes it a step above.
I used to live in this place before this hotel was built. Low-rise apartment for foreigners. TV Asahi was nearby, and Roppongi Hills wasn't there yet. The angle of the road remains the same. 40年近く前を思い出すわ。
Great video, even after watching it a second time ;) I'm glad the videos are coming to this channel, so I know where to look when I finally won the lottery ;)
Wonderful, thank you so much for this upload. Luxurious hotels are my happy place. I'm guaranteed to feel instant joy when I enter a nice hotel, knowing what awaits. I love them so much and never get tired to seeing new options for my future travels (although a Presidential suite for a week long stay in Tokyo is not in my upcoming travel budget, ha!) Great upload as usual, terrific channel.
Almost stayed in this suite for a week when Japan opened back up for residents but not for non-citizens post Covid lockdown. I think it was less than $4k with the exchange rate at the time. Ended up staying with the fam because it’s been 2 years since I saw them. It’s now $9k even with the favorable exchange rate.
hand on the back good idea dont want to touch and damage the room lol . love your video. can you do property review in other city like osaka or in hokkaido ? thx
i really like your channel and the way you present everything. i was wondering if i could ask a question here regarding accommodation. i am relatively new when it comes to travelling but i wanted to stay in japan (tokyo) for 3 months to get away from everything here and just explore. i need a "homebase"- well a place to stay and i dont mind spending more on luxury. do you have any recommendations for renting a place for 3 months? the max ammount of money i could spend on housing is around 20k for the entire stay :D
I recommend looking at airbnbs! They are probably the easiest to rent if you’re staying long term and offer many different types of houses and accommodations (affordable to luxury places) in many places of Japan!
I’d love to see your opinion on Dogen’s new house. It’s very unique and beautiful, mixing ancient Japanese architecture with modern. Check out his video “I Built My Dream House in Japan.”
That's when you point out the window and yell: "LOOK CHRIS BROAD IS GOING TO JUMP OFF TOKYO TOWER!" When she looks hop in, wave at the camera, hop out. If you're caught just say, "I told you not to push me in."
A very famous singer always stays in this suite when performing in Japan. Who do you think it is?
Drake
Natsuki

The battle is on now lmaooo

Does it really matter since both hotels are owned by Hyatt?

The GM in me agrees. 😅
That pool is massive wtf :o
It is not fun if you have to turn many times in your hotel room swimming pool.
Yet it looks so shallow... .
Let me know when you want to stay -- I'll put in the good word!
that place screams trash taste party
@@epicthief maybe with a large, non-refundable deposit
I can’t get enough of looking at Tokyo real estate and your channel has the best stuff.
During my time in Hotels I saw a lot of Presidential Suites but this is on a completely different level. Incredible.
Im really happy to find you from Chris. It’s a side of Japan I have never really explored. Thank you

If you can show your "off the books" apartments as well it'd be great.
If he could show them, they wouldn't be off the books.

I've stayed in this hotel a few times on trips to Tokyo. It is an excellent hotel with great facilities, rooms and in particular F&B outlets.
For those wondering, this room is over a million yen per night, working out at roughly £7000/$8500 per night (this is after taxes and service charges).
Appreciate you answering the question everyone had on their minds.
Not as much as I was expecting.
Kinda funky that this room is way less than the 12.000 dollar room Chris stayed in that was smaller and didn't have a pool.
@@ArchonCommando that's what I was thinking

Your channel is brilliant man, always excited to see a new upload.
This space was insane. Very cool look at this room. Thanks.
That outdoor pool is AMAZING! I'm in love with that view from it!
Now, I wish I could afford this. This looks amazing.
Filming these videos is the only way I'll ever be able to enter places like this haha.
Fantastic job as always, Julian!!
The rain shower head!!!!! I love those, want one please. The place is really impressive and legit man.

The art in that suite is amazing, would stay there just for that
Hey man, keep the videos up! I love watching every new listing in Tokyo
Anyone noticed the over a decade-old, discontinued iMac from 2008? :D
That aside, amazing suite, doubt anyone would use that anyway!
That is an awesome pool and the zen gardens are beautiful
Would love to see more hotels with amazing rooms in Tokyo.
More hotelcontent please. Tokyo has a lot of very nice hotels, like the Peninsula, the Mandarin Oriental, two Four Seasons etc.
This is absolutely incredible! And props to you, very impressive knowledge on the arts!
I swore i have seen this video before! Not that i complaining. Please review New mitani too. i hear they have excelent garden.
Such a nice video👏👍 great job

This channel will explode very soon.
Keep those videos coming Alex. This is slowly turning into my favorite channel.

Because of my relationship with Shiva.. I dont think I'll ever give a Sh*t about designer brands, but the space, views, blinds and pool. -Love it.
wow this is such a nice hotel to stay at!
omg 😲 that suite is awesome!
i kept staring at you throughout the whole video, you look great in that suit.
I'm hoping for an impress Abroad love to see what Chris does/says about that suite

Amazing suite. Love the view of the Tokyo Tower and the outdoor pool.
Keep up the good work! :)

A new dream has taken place in my mind that needs to be satiated. 😂 Imagine staying somewhere like this?! Crazy!
That’s insane! A whole floor!?
Grate job GRUL BRIGHT
Nevermind the view, nevermind the garden, you see how many Devialet Phantom speakers they put in there!?
They pulled out all the stops for sound
If it takes up the entire floor why is in only one side of the building when they show an aerial view at 1:12 in the video ?
That pool sold me 🤑🤑🤑
I would say the only mind blowing feature of that suit is the outdoor pool, at night it must be crazy with the city light
Too cool !!!
Damn, a week in that suite will cost you $56K!! It better come with a pool!!! :)
Great video
How where you able to get a tour of the place? Also whats the total cost if you want to buy the full thing.
5:33 if i where to read the brand name as i do in my home country it say "clean" ( im danish and ren = clean )
Aki just released a video of a love hotel room with a private pool - I suspect it was quite a bit cheaper...
My thought exactly!
I wish i was rich enough to stay there. That place is insane!
Is this upFor sale?
Holy crap, this is overkill
Can any of these windows be opened?
Would you ever do luxury micro apartments? Idk if that’s a thing XD
Wow!!
Nice English, are you from States? Please tell more "affordable" cheap apartments.🥺
And the amenities are included in the price, like all the drinks in the fridge? (A room like this probably doesn’t have a “mini” bar.)
No Gucci. Just Noguchi. Love it.
Damn Alex I see those knuckles, who's ass did you beat?? 😂
Tokyo's a rough town
I noticed you both were wearing shoes in that suite. Isn't that normally a faux pas in Japan? Is there an exception in higher quality suites?
The pool is a dream for someone who loves private pools June 2022
And they're wearing shoes in it!
This makes me wanna be wealthy so bad, or work at the Hyatt
But how much is it? I wanna know the absurd price. Did they mention it?
Did you know about those art pieces from your own interests or did you do some research before hand?
I just like art
those shoes with a suit is a crime
If I won the lottery I'd stay there for a month!
SWEEET!
Thank you for looking forward to see me but i can't afford this not even for one hour i'm sure xD
Sorry, did they say how much it costs for a night? I must have missed that part.

I need to start buying lottery tickets so I can stay in this room.
The pool though is worth staying for even just for a night.
Hey, you didn't climb in the tub.
You always climb into the tub. Am I wrong?
