The perfect house would be on top on a hill, with views over the city, some greenery, the ocean and Fujisan in the background. There are some properties in Zushi and Hayama with that kind of view. But they are on sothebysrealty, so the owners might not be interested in youtube coverrage XD
I would build my modern/artdeco house on a side of a valley created by glaciers. This house would have a 240° view of the entire river to the Baltic and or North sea.
I’m married and I agree 100% with Alex, twin sinks are the way. Even if my wife and I don’t wake up at the same time, we wake up consecutively. Plus the lady takes up more time at the sink.
I’m married too and single sink is OK with us. Instead, I’d like to have a big counter space because I use various beauty items for my makeup and hairdo, such as dryer, hair iron, skin care products, cosmetics etc. Usually a double sink doesn’t have enough counter space for my stuff, so I prefer a single sink with bigger counter space to a double sink.
My single toilet home sharing experience usually ended up with half the people using the kitchen sink to wash their face and brush their teeth. But we were all men so that works out. Another idea that I love but it's not popular at all is separate toilet room with a tiny sink and the main bathroom. That way, people who wants to use the stall don't have to wait for the one who needs to use the shower, and vice versa. Though in a men's share house, we just leave the door unlocked and everybody do what they want.
Love the sunken living room, ALSO VERY BIG AND LOVE that you got the OWNER to talk on the space its always great seeing who they are and why they did committed to the investment.
Since they might live together or at least sleep over fairly frequently (one would assume), I think he already knows the advantages of having more than one sink :D
I absolutely love the idea of impress abroad which, not only showcases stunning properties around Japan, but to witness a British man's facial expression whilst touring said properties is a splendid idea! I can't wait for the next one 💜
What is usually a poor attempt for a company to profit of using famous social media influencers, I have to say, this is by far, the best series I have ever seen produced by a firm. Funny, informative and accurate. Well done!
I really enjoy this contrasting dynamic between you and Chris, since most stereotypical shows about expensive villas and the like have the presenters be either borderline snobby or extremely classy. It's a good blend of humor and presentation
Growing up in my parents house we had double sinks outside the WC it was the best thing ever and I miss it. It made getting ready for school and bed so much quicker.
Alex, in my opinion. You've got the best real estate videos by all the real estate people I've seen so far. You are not selling but you are actually selling it. 😉
at 09:19 you can see in the ocean, there's something red. that looks like "tomato-soup agae" also known as that glowy magcal shit. if you wait till it hits the shore, the water will glow blue when you touch it. It's really rare, and i cant believe you didnt mention it in the videooooo AAAAA
So I checked the hotel website and room rate. 1 weekday night in September for 2 adults with breakfast and French course dinner including parking for 227,000 JPY, in today’s rate it’s 1620 USD. It’s actually less expensive than I thought.😄
I've been to Atami. Loved the weather there. Even in late February, when I went 13 years ago, the temperature was perfect. Also, perfect title for such a segment XD
Not only two sinks but I prefer two separate bathrooms, I don’t even share a bathroom with my partner of 13 years, having a bathroom all to myself is a must.
This was very entertaining. Chris adds a "Gordon Ramsay" vibe to the series. He certainly isn't easily impressed, but that view is evidetly enough to impress anyone, even the most cynical person.
Amazing town! Two sinks! I do not need to deal with his stubble or all the shaving stuff around the sink. I have my own things. Actually I prefer my own whole bathroom, personally. And my own tub! Although side-by-side ones are ok.
One sink is fine. But the spacious bath with sea view is definitely appealing! It is an impressive property with a stunning location. I can see why it would appeal to Japanese holiday makers looking for something different whilst not going too far. But as a Westerner, if I've made the journey all the way to Japan, I'm more interested in traditional style Japanese places.
TWO sinks always! The house I used to live in had dual sinks in the bathrooms, and moving into a house now they doesn’t is the worst! You have to stare at family members to move or elbow your way through to get ready for work or school lol
9:19 I wonder what that odd sort-of chemical looking slick swirl is on the ocean surface. Still! Gorgeous vacation home; I'll have to put Atami on my list of place in Japan that are totally worth exploring.
Maybe it’s different in Britain. But in the US, work schedules are pretty normalized. I confer with my gf when we are gonna wake up, who is taking the shower first (usually her because mine is shorter), and when I get out to shave or brush my teeth, she’s usually drying her hair and using the sink. Dual vanities is a large resale value and something people take notice of when pricing a home in the US
I tried to ignore the word Idealic during the opening text thinking if it's a variation of idyllic, but I couldn't so paused and pulled up Oxford just to be sure 😅 It should be Idyllic lol. I should believe in myself more haha. Anyway, what a lovely tour, with Mr Broad no less.
two sinks is a must. That way when wife and myself are in a hurry we can both do our finishing touches (hair, makeup, brush teeth). And normally every morning we are in a hurry as we minmax how long we can stay in bed XD
I've been to Atami by bike. Lovely views, horrible to cycle through with large bicycle bags and no experience in elevation (Dutchy here). Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Amazing place.. but yes the weather not doing it's justice 🤣.. hmm is there any houses that have fish inside it 🤔 i kinda have new obsession with fish, probably a house build around koi pond will be amazing
It's not as expensive as I expected. Still quite pricy if only going as a couple if you want the house with the pool, but if you had 2 couples going there or a group of people to split the bill it comes out roughly to the price of a decent ryokan.
Didn't expect this channel to have a Japanese subtitle. The translation is neat! Great content, as always. I'm looking forward to this new series, and I hope your channel will blow up more.
Two sinks are the best because it means you can spread out your toiletries. And, if you need to do your hair and makeup at the same time, there is no need to share sink or mirror space.
Excellent video. Your editing has gotten better being more cinematic at times that adds more depth. Plus it’s an incredible property with an astounding view. Kudos
Beach house or mountain villa? Or pied-à-terre? If you had all the money in the world, where would you make your vacay home?
The perfect house would be on top on a hill, with views over the city, some greenery, the ocean and Fujisan in the background. There are some properties in Zushi and Hayama with that kind of view. But they are on sothebysrealty, so the owners might not be interested in youtube coverrage XD

Mountain villa with a winding path down to the beach house. If you had all the money why not both
@@epicthief 👀 🤔
Oahu maybe... Or Tahiti. Somewhere where the surf is good, the water is warm... as are the ladies.
I’m thoroughly impressed.
Though shame about the damn weather. It didn’t do Atami justice!
The weather just wasn't impressive for such an affable person.
seeing your videos then videos of others with you + the live stream on twitch is making my small brain confused
Should have felt right at home with that British weather.
Good weather doesn't fit British grumbling
I was thoroughly impressed how you faked your buddy out at the pool! Classic Broad 🤗how did the poor bastard not see it coming.
I think Chris is trying to break a record for how many different channels he can appear on within a few weeks.
Exactly! Chris is like an octopus!!
Trash taste office has upped their security, so he can't camp outside there anymore.
I love that during the week he's biking nonstop I'm seeing him in literally EVERYONE'S videos all at once
Everywhere I go, I see his face, no matter what channel it is as long as it is a J-Vlogger channel Chris is there 😂
He did set the goal to put out more videos this year than ever before (and lose weight but we will see about that one).
Every time I see Chris with someone near a water source, I'm already expecting him to turn the faucet on. It never fails.
I’m married and I agree 100% with Alex, twin sinks are the way. Even if my wife and I don’t wake up at the same time, we wake up consecutively. Plus the lady takes up more time at the sink.
your marriage sounds kinda crappy
@@francisnorthwood7862 Ah yes, extrapolating the state of marriage of OP from a simple, singular interaction told with very little detail.
Nice!

Also 2 sinks. ALWAYS 2 SINKS.
All jvlog videos are now just a giant interconnected universe and Chris is the Agent Coulson who connects them all!
Let Chris travel around with Sharla more and then he'll come to appreciate having two sinks so that he even has one to use in the morning
Since they might live together or at least sleep over fairly frequently (one would assume), I think he already knows the advantages of having more than one sink :D
I read Sharia instead of Sharla
I thought the series was a joke, but I guess it really is happening. Really looking forward to it :)
I absolutely love the idea of impress abroad which, not only showcases stunning properties around Japan, but to witness a British man's facial expression whilst touring said properties is a splendid idea! I can't wait for the next one 💜
So good to include Chris! Perhaps one day I secure my property in Japan. This is a dream property ❤️
Let me know when you want one!

Alex’s face was so serious running into the pool and Chris had the “You’ve gotta be kidding me” face 😂. Great video Alex and love the editing!
Love the videos, keep them up!
Two sinks always, you can tell Chris hasn't had to hurry up getting ready while while Sharla was using the sink.
It's like Wacky Weekend but without the wacky and it's not on the weekend. In the end, Alex has successfully impressed a Broad!
I always love a good crossover in the Abroad Cinematic Universe
Top notch. The chemistry, the editing.
Sweet American and Grumpy British man. An affable tale, as old as time.
Growing up in my parents house we had double sinks outside the WC it was the best thing ever and I miss it. It made getting ready for school and bed so much quicker.
Even with the rain that place looks dope. I do be liking the side railing that was mentioned as chess pieces.
I'm thoroughly impressed! Glad to see Shonan get some love!!
Alex, in my opinion. You've got the best real estate videos by all the real estate people I've seen so far. You are not selling but you are actually selling it. 😉
The little animated opening was fun. Looking forward to more of these. As sometime else said, it's cool hearing from the owner as well.
Same guy who made/animated Wacky Weekend intro, I'd think.
9:53 I wasn't expecting this! This was awesome! Great music✨😉👍
at 09:19 you can see in the ocean, there's something red. that looks like "tomato-soup agae" also known as that glowy magcal shit.

I hate having two sinks actually 🤣. Our second sink is never used, usually a cat laying in it 🤷♀️
Okay THAT was an adorable little animation for your new show Alex! 😉

That 80s running into the pool scene was amazing! Looking forward to more of these 🥰
That 90s slow-mo scene felt like it was straight out of Bay Watch lmao. Well done you too! That had me rolling!
I've been to Atami. Loved the weather there. Even in late February, when I went 13 years ago, the temperature was perfect. Also, perfect title for such a segment XD
Impress abroad is an amazing name and I absolutely love it.
Even in the rain, the view was still amazing.
This is excellent. I'm so glad this is a series now.
One sink here! But a double sink is indeed popular, it can save a marriage if you have a tidy one and a messy one!
One sink, also I love the view when it’s raining personally.
You know a video is gonna be good when it starts with Alex and Chris doing the Slavic squat in front of a castle during torrential rainfall.
Seeing that Castle from the house is just really cool
Even in this shit weather the view is awesome. Rain on the overvlowing pool also adds some charm
Lol having Chris’s face on the thumbnail is the best advert ever
What a fun new series. Will be cool to see what interesting places you can find to try and impress Chris with.
Oh the kitchen counter is absolutely gorgeous!
Not only two sinks but I prefer two separate bathrooms, I don’t even share a bathroom with my partner of 13 years, having a bathroom all to myself is a must.

Noice!!! Your content just keeps getting better and better…. 👌🏼
2 sinks are great when getting ready to go out for a nice dinner.
I just saw this same property in the Japanese Disney + series ‘Subete Wasurete Shimau Kara’ with Abe Hiroshi.
nah Chris is missing out. Warm-ish pool on a rainy day is always awesome
My partner usually beats me to the sink in the morning and I have to wait around before I can get ready. If you live in a couple two sinks is a dream!
I actually love rainy weather, this was like a dream to me, back to the grind, make profit every day boys you can do it.
This series is gold
The amount of investigation that this man had to do to come up with all this jokes and references to impress Broad is impressive
Came here to impress a broad, and I left with an impressed Abroad. Decent.
TWO sinks always!
The house I used to live in had dual sinks in the bathrooms, and moving into a house now they doesn’t is the worst! You have to stare at family members to move or elbow your way through to get ready for work or school lol
What a fun format! Chris reminds me of Karl Pilkington a bit with his funny but slightly grumpy observations
I have two sinks in the master bathroom in my apartment. One is for me and the other was for my exwife...now they are all for me, ラッキーじゃん
9:19 I wonder what that odd sort-of chemical looking slick swirl is on the ocean surface.
Still! Gorgeous vacation home; I'll have to put Atami on my list of place in Japan that are totally worth exploring.
It's red tide
Awesome idea for a series! Keep it up 😇
Looking forward to more of these guys!!!
I know someone who has a countertop island that is the size of a queen bed and can seat 14 people..... It's amazing.
Alex is right, two sinks is better. Plus Alex has good reactions, avoiding Chris's sudden tap turning.
Even with the weather that is amazing
i loved this, never seen this side of japan really documented, its so cool!
love these videos! funny and professional :3
2 sinks!! Always!!
"Impress Abroad" is a truly genius title for this series. Looking forward to seeing more 😄

I wish the artist who took the time to make the clever animation near the beginning of the video got a shoutout in this video's description.
Looking forward on more videos of this series!
That intro was just great...

"Impress Abroad" friggin killed me. Well played.
Amazing place.. but yes the weather not doing it's justice 🤣.. hmm is there any houses that have fish inside it 🤔 i kinda have new obsession with fish, probably a house build around koi pond will be amazing
I definitely prefer 2 sinks. But I grew up with that, and I shared a bathroom with my sister.
What a place! Always fun seeing you and Chris together, looking forward to more Impress Abroad!
That looks absolutely gorgeous. It also looks like a place where if you need to ask about the price, you can't afford it.
The property is amazing, but I am more impressed by that table haha. Also...what is with that towel throw?! It landed perfectly on the chair.
I don't know. We got that in one take.
Soooo impressive!!!😍

Love your videos. With Chris or without him. Keep them coming.
Two sinks are the best because it means you can spread out your toiletries. And, if you need to do your hair and makeup at the same time, there is no need to share sink or mirror space.
2 sinks are better btw, but need more counter space.
I had no idea Atami existed. Wow. One day
Absolutely beautiful, now I know how the better half in Japan live hah
The part of jumping in the pool was so good 😂 I knew Chris would pull something like that lol.
Now my next holiday is Almalfi THX! I will see Neaple :D
How are you supposed to use that tv?
Bought a massive run down property on the side of the mountain about 5 mins drive up the hill from Atami beach for 30k usd equivalent
This series is gonna be great lol
The intro gives a "not so wacky weekend" vibe
I call it "Weekend"
it's more like a "Classy Weekend"
Excellent video. Your editing has gotten better being more cinematic at times that adds more depth. Plus it’s an incredible property with an astounding view. Kudos
Awesome vid man, but we gotta make sure Chris Jumps in the pool
Amazing 🤩
That was fabulous and now we have another place to check out when the borders open for tourists! Aloha from the Morales ohana in Hawaii
