I do be loving the hybrid lifestyle! I can give more attention to my family while also coming into the office and feeding off the energy from my team members. The future is now and it is hybrid!
Interesting. I’d always wondered how 9-5 became the norm. Lots of different job industries where remote just doesn’t work, so I like cassidy going through all the different alternatives.
The flex-schedules and work from home are great for those high technology jobs. But that's just percentage of workforce. What those whom work in factory, retail or Service section where must be at work site? I worked as Security Guard in metropolitan museum. When COv19 hit the museum was closed for two & half months. We're fortunate the Museum had reserves pay those couldn't be worksite. The same can't be said for many others whom had survive on Stimulus checks or unemployment money.
The Gen-X workers have lot more options and flexibility than those worked 1940-1980s. Then economy more industrial based if you didn't show up for work, you didn't get paid.

Wow! I finally understand where the 9-5 comes from! So glad to be moving hybrid though
Really cool history on Ford and the 9-5. Never knew the full story!
