I just bought this exhaust and the video is spot on for sound. Sometimes exhausts can sound different through microphones but this video is spot on. Also expect a couple days to break in the muffler it’ll sound even better
Now fit some real wheels to your daily. I bought a set of 20" with Continental sportcontact 7, 275mm 10" on the rear and it looks like a Porsche. 20x9 and 245 is perfect on front, I needed 5mm spacer to clear the brakes in the front
This exhaust is amazing!!! Thank you for the install tips, the mount removal tool was a life saver, makes the job so much quicker. The only additional thing I would add is tighten the cat bolts before you mount the rest of the exhaust, the additional wiggle room is needed.

While I do love my ARK Grip Exhaust, I do admit - it is somewhat quiet and doesn't burble near as much as the solo. It's definitely my second ideal exhaust set up.
Tip alignment has been tricky to maintain....the connections slide into one another as they join creating an uneven spot where they mate....the clamp is rigid on top and won’t conform to the 1/16” difference.....this prevents them from properly conforming..... Solo Performance has been very helpful however which I appreciate very much✌️
Great video it helped me today to install my Solo exhaust. Did you tighten the bolts to the Cats with a specific torque? Also the clamps torque or just hand tight?
I didn't use a specific torque, just tightened them tight for a 3/8 ratchet. My clamps needed to be torqued down pretty good to keep them from rotating...
Hey just got mine and waiting for it to arrive! After looking through your install video I have a question. I didn’t see where or when you used the 4 bolts that came in the bag with the gaskets. If you did let me know at which point they were used. Appreciate any and all help!
I was thinking about getting a Solo Performance Cat-Back Exhaust for my 2014 Genesis Coupe. I am already scraping on certian speed bumps and I was wondering if this Solo Performance Exhaust hangs down any lower than my stock factory exhaust? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They have been around for a little while. I originally planned on getting the ARK but for the price, this seemed like a better option. I've heard only positive things from people who have purchased this exhaust and 2 months in, no regrets...
my stock BK2 Rspec doesn't even sound as good as that stock one. wtf... My BK1 GT sounds better than both of these but i have no idea whats on it. It was done before I got it
I own an Infiniti G35 coupe (VQ35) and a BK2 Genesis Coupe 3.8 and they do have a similar sounding engine; but they are definitely not identical as far as the sound of the engine/exhaust... imo the Genesis Coupe has a tad bit of a deeper growl to it in comparison to a VQ
Nah!!! Just get your local muffler guy to watch this and replicate the pipes for a third of the money. I did. lol REAL custom exhaust is always the way to go. Not any way over-priced manufactured set-up. Your muffler guy can tune the exhaust exactly how you want it. MUCH cheaper.

It’s not a true dual exhaust. A true dual exhaust system provides each head and exhaust manifold with its own separate exit. H pipe aren’t true dual.
