where i am from we have what is called a pancake house. and they have all that stuff . not the thing in the cup though. i am sure that is awesome food. i love 3 full stack of waffles , with hash browns then on top 4 easy over eggs , then you open the eggs let it run over every thing. then comes the syrup cover it all.. then big in. havd a great night King 😁
Country fried steak is the best thing in the world I used to eat this at school as a kid and still do as an adult it’s amazing with gravy and mash potatoes !!

Country Fried Steak is suppose to have a thin almost veal like cut to it. The texture is not as tender as veal, though. They're infinitely better when made at a mom & pop shop in the south, or even a diner like this. IHOP....no.

I grew up on fried squirrel. fried rabbit, fried cub steak, and it was all smothered in brown gravy, also we ate a lot of fried pork chops smothered in brown gravy. The only thing we had white gravy with was sausage and white gravy over biscuits. I grew up in Great Falls S.C., We were poor folks and so we made homemade brown gravy all the time. Sometimes we would have brown gravy on mashed potatoes with some kind of fried meat on the side. We had a lot of fried foods and so my Mom or Dad would make brown gravy just because it was so easy and cheap to make from the grease and the crusty stuff left in the pan from what ever was fried. Potato salad was a big thing at our house too.
Country fried steak is so fire, and pairing it with eggs and hash browns with a really good gravy just brings it all together

I think runny or stiff grits is a preference. And if they don’t put salt and pepper in them for you they ain’t good
Also add eggs and sausage to eat them if they’re that bad..they are edible just have to doctor it up
