- For a large chunk of the FIFA Career Mode community; myself included. FIFA 12 is a game that holds a special place in our hearts. FIFA 12 took FIFA from being a game that I occasionally played with friends every year to my passion. But have you ever wondered what happened to some of the most sought after prospects in the game mode? Well in today’s video we will be reviewing what happened to 10 of FIFA 12’s finest wonderkids. Funny thing: I am Brazilian and a SÃO PAULO fan, the club where Casemiro started his career. Nowadays, he is arguably one of the best of his position, but back when he was still playing for São Paulo, we used to call him "CASEMALA", a nickname that would translate to "CASE TRASH" in English. He was pretty good back then, don't get me wrong, but the thing is, he was really immature, used to arrive DRUNK for training and did not perform well at all in games because of that. It's really good to see that he lived to his FIFA 12 potential after all.
I think it would be closer to "CaseMoron" than "trash"...

Ganso was a sick wonder kid on FIFA 12. Shame how he's dropped off but I guess when you're from a country that produces quality players, it's hard to keep up expectations

Even if he did work out . He was too slow for Europe. He was a CAM while also being slower than any other player on the Pitch .
Ganso suffered with a lot of injuries since the start of his career.

el shaarawy was super in fifa 14 too. never bought him but was consistently best player in serie a whenever i played there

Jong AZ and Jong Utrecht are not teams you can sign with, it are teams to let players play who aren't good enough for first, or who are coming back from injury, because of that Labyad and Maher didn't play that manhy matches for them
Small addition: the Jong (U21) teams are in the second Dutch division and allow(ed) teams to let injured players come back and play games on a lower level. So Labyad did play well for FC Utrecht, he just played games for the U21s because he was injured

Rebuild Cruz Azul from the Mexican League and put them in the English 2nd Division. They recently lost the final to there rivals America. Back in the day,they were a Mexican stable. They are a former shadow of themselves.

Guidetti has actually been great for Sweden (mostly the under 21) national team even tho he hasn't scored that many goals for the normal swedish nation team
Iturbe definitively didn't have his best spell with AS Roma, though. He shone with Hellas Verona, that's why AS Roma brought him over.
He contracted an ACL injury I believe during the first half of his first season at Roma, and never recovered from it since because the club and him agreed to make him undergo a therapy instead of operating him. We never saw the true Iturbe since, although I can assure you he's the kind of player that gives 100% on the field, a real pity and I truly believe that he has all the rights to sue the club if he ever wanted to.

Trust me when you make a player there should be no fixed potential in career mode they should utilise the training factor and make it so that one with the better form should exceed the small change in the code can make fifa way more engaging

You should do a series where you take the worst players in past fifas and find out where are they now
I don't know if you missed it or just choose to not put it in but Guidetti played quite an important role in Swedens U-21 European Championship win which might not sound all that special but for a country like Sweden it was quite big.
During the whole campaign (including qualifiers) he scored 10 goals in 18 appearances.
It was a tournament where Sweden was clear underdogs against the likes of England with for example Stones and Lingard, Italy with the likes of Belotti and Romagnoli, the probable favorites Portugal who had William Carvalho and João Cancelo and so on. I don't mean anything bad just wanted to mention it and if the case was that you missed it might be interesting to know. He doesn’t exist. The saddest thing is, watching him play for fenerbahce, he genuinely has bags of potential even right now, yet he has nothing to show for it. No goals in 14 games and only 1 assist. Yet in game, he can quite easily dominate a midfield when he feels like it. He’s wasted potential.
When you score less than 12 goals your whole career and you’re almost 25.. and you’re a striker that’s what happens

Heya Palace fan here. Absolutely love Wickham. He's an honest lad who can hold up the ball, use both feet and head the ball. Can beat a defender too. Two career crushing injuries later and he finally got his appearance for us again in the league against Cardiff. Completely changed the game for us and fingers crossed with his fitness, I have great hope in him. Quality player who deserves game time
one important thing to bring up about guidetti's international history is the time Sweden won the Uefa u21 against all odds in 2015 and John guidetti was instrumental and won the bronze boot having scored 2 goals and getting one assist
Maher is the best player of AZ this year, I hope he Will stay till the end of his career. Absolute genius playmaker in a different role from his First term in Alkmaar.

16:36 the eredivisie isn't a top league unfortunately. It is a playground for clubs like ajax (who I support) and psv so it's not that difficult to pick up many goals

Rebuild Panathinaikos put them on the championship they were good and won teans luke juventus and they once went to the Uefa Cup final but right now they are facing an economuc crisis and have to use half of their youth team so if you were to rebuild them use the youth academy and limit transfers for tge first seasons

I'm FC Utrecht fan, and Labyad was last season (one of) the most important players in the season 17-18. That's why he went to Ajax. When he signed at Ajax the most people thought that Ziyech would leave the club, and Labyad would take his Place, so he may not have been a complete failure😉
he could've been so much more though... His time in Sporting could lead him to a big career, but a lack of commitment by his part slowed him down. That is a problem common to young players though.
Though, maybe if had stayed at PSV for longer it could've been different. If a new city can be too much for a youngster, imagine a new country...
