I work in a coffee house in a small town in arctic Norway where Sivert Høyem was born. His mother Jorun is a frequent customer, an absolutely adorable lady who sometimes i like to have a small chat. Sivert came to the town to make a concert in early spring this year and i went. He has one of the most beautiful voices in the world. Unique powerful, majestic just as this song. A true gem.
I went to Norway on a trip and got sick. While confined to the house, overlooking the fjord, I discovered the Industrial Silence CD and put it on while the sun was setting and the lights came on in the villages across the fjord, while I watched from the couch. An experience I will never forget. Ever since then, Madrugada has been my favorite band.
I only heard Madrugada for the first time 3 years ago, while on a visit to the Netherlands. Sivert Høyem has, for me, one of the finest voices I have heard in many years. He is the male version of Annie Lenox's voice for me. Absolutely phenomenal.

Industrial Silence hit me like no album ever did.
Indeed, I encountered them ca. mid-2000s, and they quickly rose to one of my favorite bands, along with Conjure One and Kosheen.
Next time make shure you bring enough clothes. You might had caught a cold. But that is only a guess.
That album hit me hard too. As hard as How To Measure a Planet by The Gathering did.
