If you want to achieve a soft crust like biscuit then add only butter. Adding water to the crust will creates a flakey crust which I don't like. And i have never used oil based crust.
Hi adillah, As I already mention in the description box, i like to add soy sauce because i like it dark, got more intense banana flavour and get camarelised very quick because of the molasses. Hope this help
Adding Soy sauce a special caramel-like flavour. Plus it’s allow the the filling to set firm. No i wouldn’t recommend light one, because of the thickness of the sauce is too watery and you won’t get the beautiful intense brown colour.
