Lemon balm is delicious but it winds me up and makes my mind super active so I actually cannot take it for bed. It gives me too much energy! But that's just me. One of my favorite herbs.

We do not sell the dried flower individually, only in tincture, hydrosol, or dried in a tea blend with other herbs.

Each variety is different and some do have toxicities. For your specific variety I can't say. Don't consume it unless you have reliable information that the particular variety is safe.

Just eat the flowers, how does this work? I cannot find any information on this. I have a vine that went nuts, lots of flowers and don't know what to do with it?
Make sure you know the specific variety is safe for consumption, and then you can do a few things with it, the easiest way you could use it is simply make an ice tea out of it, or hot tea, brew it as you would brew hot tea, or if you use room temperature or cold water just let a few flowers steep in the water overnight and you have a simple cold brew tea. More like a passionflower water, but it's really nice, calming, and uplifting.

HI Amelia, can some Passion Flower be poisonous?
Some parts of the plant of some varieties can be toxic; however, we use the flowers of Passiflora quadrangularis, which is not only non toxic, but very medicinal. I certainly recommend doing your research on which varieties you have to be sure.
