Beautiful car. I have a '84 Fleetwood Brougham sold thru a Don Massey dealership. It still has the Don Massey tag on the rear trunk lid. I believe purchased at Don's original Cadillac dealership. Don was one if not the largest Cadillac dealers.
I put 108,000 miles on my 2019 all black XTS. I absolutely love it. I've had l believe, 15 cadillacs so far in my life. I would love to own yours someday.
GREAT VIDEO I was 20 years old in 1996 driving my first car which was a 1985 Sedan DeVille.... I have always loved this car and just might end up still getting one if I find one in great condition in the next couple of years or so.... this is arguably the last of the great big Cadillacs
Verily i enjoyed the complete video with no distractions allowed. Man that car is beautiful i would love to bathe the leather seats with Meguiars leather conditioner.
The Fleetwood V4P has 3.42 gears. The Roadmaster V92 and non V4P Fleetwood Brougham has 2.93. The non V92 Roadmaster and base Fleetwood (non-Brougham) has 2.56.
I have a 95 White and White Vinyl coach like top with blue leather. Exactly like this that I bought in Phoenix 14 years ago. 37,000 miles. I’ve done much work on it replacing transmission cooling lines, new brakes, New Opti spark new OEM radio with CD, And more and the paint and and lower chrome is a 90 out of 100. I have babied it in the north and always garaged it conditioned too. …so ready to sell. 59,000 miles. I liked it for the comfort, power and it drove darn nice at 75 mph interstate. Many have complimented me. I wish we had cars like this for cruising luxury now. I miss those comfort cars. And I’m your age so I remember some really nice older cars.
I know what you mean about those darn side speers. A guy in Southern California sells them and I bought 4 and they are real metal and backing adhesive. Super nice. But don’t buy from the guy in Northern California! His don’t have adhesive on them and the metal isn’t shiny. My bright work is extremely nice and not one dent on lower exterior.
@gm-classics I installed a ZZ9 cam from TPIS, 1.6 roller rockers, opened up the exhaust a bit and headers and underdrive pulleys and 3.70 gears back in the day. Somewhere hidden in the long forgotten RacingFreaks archives there's a vid of me wiping a WS6 TranSpam from a roll and drag
Beautiful car I bought a new 1996 Lincoln Mark 8 in 1996 I was also interested in the new 1996 Eldorado but I was snubbed by the salesman at Don Massey so I went to Krug Lincoln Mercury and bought the Lincoln. It was a beast.
Could you please make a new video about this part of automotive history in daylight and in 4k so we can really see the wonderfull details of this mint condition car. Thanks
All the Roadmasters and Fleetwoods had the vents. I am not sure when the Corvettes, Camaros and Firebirds finally went to vented Optisparks. I also suspect the Caprice and Impala also all had the vents.
It’s coming don’t worry trying to hit 200k first. The truck also still has the original belt on it the original water pump and the original air filter believe it or not. Yes I take the air filter out and blow it off with an air hose but it’s the original one. I have been doing this since 2010 just as a I don’t care kind of testament to see what it would actually do. If I blow it up I was gonna put a 6.2 in it but so far so good and I think I’ll wear the rest of the truck out before the engine goes
Had an 00' Durango with a bad rear main seal, left droplets every time it was parked. Calculated it was cost effective to add dollar tree oil at the time instead of fixing it. 280k miles daily drove it for 2 years sold it like that. It's still be driven to this day. 4.7 magnum with a little milkshake. Added oil weekly. Coolant monthly. Never ran hot. Still running. I've seen lack of oil changes kill 4 and 6 cylinder cars even v8s like the 3v but the 5.9 and 4.7 magnum are basically bulletproof and the mighty LT1 is the most slept on engine from the 90s
Find an FE2 car in the junk yard, or a 9c1, change the springs, and the sway bars, and put some good shocks on it like bilstein.. sorry about the video quality I may start shooting in a higher resolution soon, but it does limit people with limited bandwidth. If you want to see the car, just go to my website, you can see 28 megapixel pictures of it there done with professional Canon camera.
Yeah, the L05 engine from 1993 was a slug. The L05 was the optional engine on the 1990-1992 Broughams. I had a 1990 Brougham with the V92 and the L05. It was such a slug compared to my 1996 Brougham. I had 2 V4P Broughams one 1996 with vinyl top delete, and a 1995. They were quite fast. But for some unknown reason, I had a 1994 Brougham without the V4P, so it had 2.93 gears, and it was the fastest LT-1 D or B body I have ever owned. I guess it was built on a Wednesday.
@scottd7222 dumbest ish ever 🤣. Imma pay all this money for a car just to look at it and barely drive it and then hope it appreciates where I can make a profit if I sell it. Not including maintenance, insurance, cost of owning it...almost never get it back.
I have a 95 with the V4P and it has 16,000 on the Odometer. The V4P does cause a drop in Fuel Economy, because of the 3:42 rear Axle. The Standard Axle Ratio was 2:93 Too Bad this Car is Black.
yep, i have some bubbling on my strips my car has been garage kept its whole life i have the gold edition with the Vogue rims on mine on the license plate on mine you can lock it in the trunk
The condenser on R134a cars have smaller and twice as many tubes and finer and more numerous fins too. Those who think simply changing the fittings and oil to convert to R134a being sufficient are kidding themselves.
They are amazing as everyone wants to say. Were cheap built pieces of {?} from GM back in the day!!! Headliners failed, spheres on fenders failed, due to being made of plastic. Interior was no match to the D' Elegance package of 92. No OPERA lamps for that "upscale" ambiance. Really, what is there to preserve for the Cadilliac purist??
Yea all those are issues.. no car is perfect… i was around when people were throwing 911’s in their yard in dallas as they could not take the heat and burned up in a year…. Old Cadillacs even from 50s 60s were crap body lines new, we expect perfect now and the restorations are much over done. A new honda mini van will blow the doors of car shelby’s best 66 mustang…. A duramax truck with a 10000 lb trailer will beat a 79 camaro in a race…. On and on it goes…. Classic cars are about preservation.. as i can testify, there is not a one of them that is really fun to drive unless its highly modified…. But then its not original…. And then no one cares…. So classic cars are really a “you cant have fun” self abusive hobby… and its certainly not for everyone
The frames are very weak on this platform. I have crushed several of these and on the limos and hearses the front and rear of the car get folded so it will fit in the crusher. One fork on the loader bends these frames and the whole car like a pretzel. The crusher doe’s the rest. If I were to own one of these I would definitely reinforce the frame. That is one nice car though!
Matt, I tried to buy the white 2,300 mile 94 Fleetwood Brougham from you back when I was in Iraq. $25K wouldn’t do it. I don’t like the mirror placement on the earlier models and prefer the 96’s because they have OBDII and the mirrors on the corner of the window. But hey, question for you. Nobody has the belt tensioner for these cars with the heavy duty cooling. I bought a 33K white Fleetwood but in 2016 got a 22K Buick Roadmaster. That’s the car I need one for. Any lead? Thanks
Beautiful car. I have a '84 Fleetwood Brougham sold thru a Don Massey dealership. It still has the Don Massey tag on the rear trunk lid. I believe purchased at Don's original Cadillac dealership. Don was one if not the largest Cadillac dealers.
Best Cadillac ever made imo... way better then todays "crap" they make.
Wow, this must be preserved as much as possible.
Last year of this beautiful beast.
Thank you for this time capsule. Amazing.
Im auctioning off my 94 fleetwood brougham this week 40k miles. I love these cars
When?
I remember seeing your GM classics webpage many years ago. You have quite the collection!
I put 108,000 miles on my 2019 all black XTS. I absolutely love it. I've had l believe,
15 cadillacs so far in my life. I would love to own yours someday.
GREAT VIDEO

Wow dude ur knowledge on these beautys is impressive indeed, jst turned 60 myself. Definitely like these older and bygone rides! 👍
Matt that surely is a beauty . I had a 94 that got totaled. Man I miss her
Looks real stout!
Verily i enjoyed the complete video with no distractions allowed. Man that car is beautiful i would love to bathe the leather seats with Meguiars leather conditioner.
Stunning car, in this case those wheels were worth every penny.
The Fleetwood V4P has 3.42 gears. The Roadmaster V92 and non V4P Fleetwood Brougham has 2.93. The non V92 Roadmaster and base Fleetwood (non-Brougham) has 2.56.
I have it on my bucket list to visit your collection. Hopefully one day Matt.
Daaaamnnn brooohaaammm! Love it MG, wicked cool! Brings me back. Thanks for sharing
Handsome car, the combo is the best, hard to keep clean, but I had a triple black for a long time, and was pampered.
Absolutely Gorgeous 96. I have a 90 thats also Gorgeous, but not this Gorgeous. Congratulations on this Stunning Real Cadillac. !!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Omg I wanna come see your collection. Beautiful
totally agree with you about the speed its amazing how fast they will go and you feel like you are sitting on your couch

Oh yeah…Surprisingly my Power antenna still works!

Matt what Car. Keep up the great Car finds. Hopefully you're in Business to Sell Car's not Show Case them Only***Thanks.
Absolutely beautiful great find !
Not fully loaded. Opera lights and SLP parts missing.
Yes.. factory flowmaster option missing too!
Had new in 1996. I kept till 2018 , my current Cadillac , 2018 XTS .
Hello Matt I love your car's you have! 🙃🙂
It's basically the grandfather of the CTS v is the CTS v of the early 90s, right?
These were so nice. The buick roadmaster interior was cramped.
Beautiful car I bought a new 1996 Lincoln Mark 8 in 1996 I was also interested in the new 1996 Eldorado but I was snubbed by the salesman at Don Massey so I went to Krug Lincoln Mercury and bought the Lincoln. It was a beast.
Is it forsale?
1 of a kind, will this be in a "museum " one day ?
Could you please make a new video about this part of automotive history in daylight and in 4k so we can really see the wonderfull details of this mint condition car. Thanks
Is this car for sale?
Is this still available for sale?
It wasnt for sale. He is a collector
Wow that's a beauty

tell us more about the no-oil-change F150 please!

Thank you Monsieur a very nice Cady.
Love it. Américain landwacht at is best ❤😊
if only the video was shot in a better quality.
also what if i got one with the fe1 suspension, how do i convert it to the fe2 option?

@@gm-classics oh i have seen those pics years ago, still lusting overthem haha.
Price?
Downsized & apparently the last year for the rear wheel drive platform GM very nice 🚗 thanks for sharing it.
Still the longest production car release that year. Longer than even the Suburban of the same year.
Wasn't this car on ebay back about 10 years ago?
The only thing that would make it even better would have been the vinyl top delete.
WOW nice car
I have one of these, in the 1993 year
yes mine has the Michelins which they don't make anymore i think i would change that oil just for clearing the obsessive compulsive alarm
Ha i dont do it for that for the very reason…. It keeps the mentally programmed from wanting it!
awesome
HOW MUCH
Yeah, the L05 engine from 1993 was a slug. The L05 was the optional engine on the 1990-1992 Broughams. I had a 1990 Brougham with the V92 and the L05. It was such a slug compared to my 1996 Brougham. Never drove in a Cadillac, but you probably feel awake when you drive it, you feel like in a mob.
Incredible
Wow
what a beast !
Lord I love it.💥💥💥💥
Love all the chrome, top of the line car. Change the oil & drive it a bit.
Bad ass 💯 but to have all these cars but never be able to drive them is pointless in my opinion. I'd want to drive em occasionally.
The point is to keep them prestine for the next guy. 😂
@scottd7222 dumbest ish ever 🤣. Imma pay all this money for a car just to look at it and barely drive it and then hope it appreciates where I can make a profit if I sell it. Not including maintenance, insurance, cost of owning it...almost never get it back.
I have a 1995 Roadmaster Sedan and a 1996 Roadmaster Wagon with the Sungate windshield.
Top 5 rwd cars of all time on my list
I have a 95 with the V4P and it has 16,000 on the Odometer. The V4P does cause a drop in Fuel Economy, because of the 3:42 rear Axle. The Standard Axle Ratio was 2:93
Too Bad this Car is Black.
These are the biggest
modern-90s up-
sedans on the road .
yep, i have some bubbling on my strips my car has been garage kept its whole life i have the gold edition with the Vogue rims on mine on the license plate on mine you can lock it in the trunk
A real work of art and best of all it had a great motor instead of one of Caddilacs mystery motors most of which were notorisly bad.
The condenser on R134a cars have smaller and twice as many tubes and finer and more numerous fins too. Those who think simply changing the fittings and oil to convert to R134a being sufficient are kidding themselves.

Ill take the red Eldorado in the back!
That’s $86,750 adjusted for inflation if anyone was wondering.

absolutely no one wanted this but they still had an m.s.r.p of $45 grand in 1995
Deee-elegance. LOL. Come on dude. It's Day-la-gance.
Biggest ripoff on any car MOON ROOF
Well thats an ugly one for certain.
so is yo sista
Matt, I tried to buy the white 2,300 mile 94 Fleetwood Brougham from you back when I was in Iraq. $25K wouldn’t do it.
