OtakuDaiKun wouldn’t it be better to call him false assassin rather than fake since he is technically a false heroic spirit with how he is like a combination of sorts between made up stories and a unnamed swordsman?
The way I understand it is in Fuyuki's wars only one of the Hassan-i-Sabbahs is supposed to be summoned for Assassin, which makes Kojiro a fake. But in non-Fuyuki wars, like in Apocrypha and Grand Order, they don't have that limitation.

kiritsugu said in the first ep of fate/zero that arturia is the stronges but in terms of compatibility/ease of use assassin or caster would be better for him.
but if he had summoned one of those two classes i dont think he could have won the war.
He'd lose against most heroes who don't need to put their Masters in danger. He'd get destroyed by Archer, likely Lancer, and arguably even Caster. Having Assassin means they'd have to avoid the Servants like a plague, because the class is built around killing Masters via your Servant while your Master has the ability to defeat/delay/distract the Servant.
@@GiggaGMikeE Cursed arm may last longer than most though he has evasion from wind so projectiles are harder to hit him with making guys like Archer less effective but he's no master stroke and would likely lose unless Kiritsugu got lucky/clever.

Interestingly, in Nasuverse, during the Third Crusade, King Richard, Saladin and one of the Hassans fought together with Dead Apostles.

I like to imagine it was King Hassan who Richard fought with, but unfortunately the real life Hassan-i-Sabbah died like 60 years before the real life Richard I was born so it couldn't have been.

Fun fact: the word "assassin" is Europeans trying to say the (Arabic) name of the group, chashishyon > hassissyon > assassin [the cha in the start isn’t as in cheese but a letter that can’t be pronounced in english, something between ch as in cheese to h as in head]

I had a feeling it was something like that, but it didn't hit me until this video with his pronunciation "hashashin" now that you have transliterated the root word in arabic, i can guess the spelling of that same word in a closely related language (hebrew)
The sound would be 'kh' rather than 'ch', you pronounce it like the french 'r'. You basically vibrate your throat while saying 'k'.

I mentioned before that Diarmuid was probably my favorite Lancer, while Okita was my favorite Saber. I’m surprised myself to learn that Cursed Arm is one of my favorite Assassins, and the one I would most likely choose out of all Assassin class Servants. While lacking the power that other Servants possess, his versatility in espionage and the unique nature of his Noble Phantasm make him extremely viable as a partner.

I just realized something... if Hercules had been around, hassan would have been fucked. Like, beef straight up hard counters him delusional heart beat is only a C rank noble phantasm, soooo it’s not getting through god hand and even if, by some miracle, the attack went through that would be at most one life off of Hercules with the added bonus of being immune to any attempts afterward...
I’m not to well versed on the heavens feel route, so I’m not sure if herc was even alive at the time...
Herc was in hf, but he never fought assassin and got destroyed by salter.

Even though this is *very* late, Hassan most likely never used drugs to convice new recruits to join him or to 'enhance' the performance of his assasins. The word 'hashashin' comes from the word 'hashish' (weed) which is the drug thought to be used by the organization, but think about this from Hassan's perspective : You're going to give a mission to kill a high priority target, a mission that will consist mainly of sneaking past guards armed to the teeth, picking locks and maybe even climbing towers to a guy so high he can see sound? And what about the munchies? I doubt onigiri or sandwiches existed back then, the only foods that were esy to carry back then were nuts and bread and neither are enough to sate the munchies.
I'm actually kind of surprised that you only mentioned cursed arm's appearances in the stay night universes, when he had so much more lore added from Grand Orders side of things. I know most of that is probably covered in various grand order lore videos, but you've done full compilations before, like with medusa, who got both stay night universes and Grand order lore videos. I just feel that the longest armed Hassan is getting the short end of the stick is all.

You said that Hassan of Cursed Arm was the second leader of the group and King Hassan was the first leader; does that mean that Hassan of Hundred Personas and Hassan of Serenity are actual separate beings as well, because I think that the first Hassan in the series would be Hassan of Hundred Personas, and then the one in Heaven's Feel was Hassan of Cursed Arm; what's your opinion on the matter?

Just out of curiosity, why did you talk more about the Hassan as a legacy rather than Hassan of the cursed arm as a character in Fgo? Yes, you talked about him when he appeared in the Heaven’s feel route, but the Hassan we meet in the Camelot singularity is markedly different, likely because he’s not under Zolgen’s control. I ask because he’s more than just one of the inheritors of the name of the old man in the mountain

Good point. I'm not sure if Hassan was in that war or not, but it also turns out that Hassan may not be the anti-hero I thought he was. To his own people he's seen as a genuine hero.

You're totally wrong about Order of Assassins. Their goal was not to kill who opposes Islam or Allah. They were Iranians. All of their castles is here in Iran. They wanted to over throne the Arabic Caliphate and and Seljuq Turks and take back their home land Iran. (Persia as westerns say) That's true they believed in Islam but their goals was not Islamic at all. There were some cults in western Middle East (today's Syria) known as Assassins at the time of Crusades but they were not directly related to the original Assassins of Persia.

Ok just I wanna say I know nothing about the fate series before I start triggering the non casuals. What kind of servant get summoned in each HGW.
Like is it only those who are cast into legend for battle oriented feats like King Arthur aka saber.
Or can U summon people like Martin Luther (Protestant dude ) or Sir Francis bacon (inventor of the sandwich)
James McMillin Most of the heroes have very old and classic legends, but some have been summoned as recently as Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. The writers often retcon whatever limitations they once put on heroes so they can keep adding more.
Strangely kinda liked the cloaked look of Cursed Arm Hassan and Hundred Face Hassan.

OtakuDaiKun yeah the Hassans are kinda not focused much in the Fate series, save for a particular chapter in FGO but way later and thier founder is completely different level of an Assassin-Class. Thier are like two female Hassans known (three if you count Nameless from Strange/Fake but she got kicked out of the group) and yes the female foreman of Hundred Face Hassan counts.

lightning storm Because Sasaki wasn’t supposed to be summoned. Medea cheated and summoned a servant of her own. When Zouken wanted a servant, he just summoned his from Sasaki directly.

Hassan is a title inherited by many individuals. Fate/Zero's version is Hassan of a Hundred Faces. Similar but has a different special ability.

I swear the Gudako and Gramps comics have made him the greatest thing in FGO.
Yeah, it is actually the thing now that Innocent Gudako (Eiriri's Gudako, i think i spelled her name wrong) manage to summon Gramps and Gramps protect the Innocence of Gudako, while in other timeline, where Gudako didn't manage to summon gramps, she herself became a beast who can destroy the world (Riyo's gudako)
Aka "First Hassan" that Assassin should not be taken lightly at all and he's still an Assassin despite the armored look from Dark Souls.
