Retro! When you move those cases make that corner a Japanese corner with Gashapon machines and maybe a DDR or a couple legit Japanese Sega Arcade cabinets. Something different but also paying homage. It would be a good use of real estate. The Bandai Gashapon machines are the way to go. Lastly, ties Games and Toys together completely. Love the store.

I have not been to the store but when I was younger I liked looking at the section that were the employees picks. I worked at blockbuster and it was always a fun time picking and discussing the movies with the customers. You get to know the regulars a little more and you can cater to their likes and possibly sell more product.

Turn that space with the Blockbuster sign into a classic vintage typical 80s Kids Bedroom, with like vintage 80s cartoon bed set, some cool 80s themed posters up on the wall, an 80s console on demo mode with games stacked beside it, some rollerblades "tossed" under the bed, Loose Toys strewn about, some sealed 80s snacks like New Coke or TMNT Pudding Pies... etc, and rope it up like a museum piece, but everything should have a little plastic stand with a price, meaning everything in the display is for sale and can be cycled out...
Bed Set sells? Cycle in some Power Rangers Bed sheets.
Games sell? Put some more games in there!
Rollerblades sell? Put some Nerf Guns in there!
Just keep the display alive and changing as a fun "museum" display next to the already existing small "window Museum" displays that are right beside that area!
I always loved when we went to a furniture store as a kid and there was a full "kids bedroom" display, but all the trinkets were hollow cardboards, the VHS, the Games, and the TV was a hollow cheap plastic imitation.. etc, as the display was only meant to sell the furniture and the bedroom sets... but it was still fun to see... I would have loved it if the stuff was actually REAL like the toys and the TV running... etc.
    Picture for example:

There's probably not enough room for this in that area of the store but back in the 90s my local game store had a section of their store set aside for renting games by the hour and then you would chill on a couch and play the latest games on a tv. Maybe you could do something similar for retro consoles. Another idea for your store would be to rent out games.

I would recommend having some sort of gaming furniture setup. Most gamers like sitting down and chairs make sitting down even better! So using that as a demo area to sell gaming furniture could turn it into a kind of active retail space which could in turn help you pivot and swivel and under-profiting section of the store into a possible more profitable one. maybe.

You should get a deal to retail items for people to display their collections with accessories by companies like your replica sign dealers, and those art pieces that are made from broken consoles, handhelds, ect. I think an idea that is crazy, is to have a "Hall of Fame" for the creators of games or systems, maybe a "Celebrity Wall" of past celebrities who visit, or a "Customer of the Month Wall"/"Customer Hall of Fame" for people who bring in huge trades, buy "X" amount of product, or have been long time clients.

Rick has OCD and his addiction has made him lost and talk like an imbecile. He really needs professional help. In a previous video (guy with a van full of stuff) in response to the guy stating he has culminated to much and doesn't know what to do with it...Rick agrees with him...then Rick buys more stuff he doesn't have room for so will ultimately go in storage. Rick's own words "What am I doing"...You don't know what you are doing until you come to the realisation like the guy selling the stuff is. Rick doesn't even see his own mirror in the guy he is speaking to. Funny thing to add it seems Rick is part of a church as he wears a jacket with a church's name on it. If he believes Jesus, then it also shows he really doesn't by his own actions. Matthew 6:19-21 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth...For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

If you have time for someone to post and watch for sales there. Posting would take the longest and then maybe check for any sales 1st thing in the morning and maybe just before or after break.
