Question do you know will these goggles or glasses work with somebody who is far-sighted and needs to wear glasses for reading? Or will these goggles fit over glasses?
It might not work with farsightedness. The goggles are big enough internally to accommodate a set of glasses, but there is a lens made to magnify the FPV from the installed monitor to make it feel life-like while flying.
i tried everything still no telemetry or battery reading!!! is it my receiver? just bought these and I can get an image by going to menu and scrolling through the channels but it wont bind! even after holding photo button on controller when starting. Controller binds but this receiver just beeps away.
Just received these for my H501SS with standard transmitter. Disappointed that the video recording function does not also record the telemetry. It also seems that I bind the HS001 to the copter, I lose the video feed to the transmitter. The demo video seems to show that they should be able to both display at the same time. If anyone knows how to make this work, or knows what I am missing, please advise.
Hi Frank ,happy new year ,for the HS001 ,it can get the telemetry only when it work with Hubsan H122D at present .And for the H501S it can only get the video feedback on the screen .Anyway I will double check with our engineer if they may get some better solution to make it available in the future .Thanks
Make sure transmitter and display are set to same 5ghz frequency. If its changed from either device, it leaves the other behind. Make them both agree, and it works . . I guess we need to make a camera mount and hood to record the screen on a 3rd device . . which appears the only way we will ever capture telemetry...
Hi, I bought a Hubsan h501ss a month ago and I have noticed that in RTH mode, the quad will fly back to where the transmitter was positioned (and NOT where the quad was) at the time when arming the motors. Is this observation correct and is this the intended way for the quad to operate?
Hello. Yes, this is intentional. When the aircraft enters RTH and the transmitter possesses 6 or more satellites, the aircraft will opt to return to the transmitter. If the aircraft enters RTH and the transmitter does not have 6 or more satellites, the aircraft will return to where it was armed in GPS mode with 6 or more satellites.
I do exactly what you say with my newly bought H502SS but after the HS001 took over the FPV picture the transmitter screen FPV turn off. The transmitter screen shows only telemetry. What happened to my setting. Have I do anything wrong? Any idea on how to fix this?
The FPV Frequency on the transmitter is wrong . . It can happen the other way round, requiring you change the monitor frequency to that of the transmitter. Put both on the same 5GHz frequency and presto.
I have followed this procedure precisely and the display will NOT bind and show the telemetry from my H501S. WHY? The display binds to my H122D and shows its telemetry just fine.

Estragou a placa do meu transmissor do h 501 s e nao consigo consertar, nao consigo comprar um transmissor novo e nao sei se posso usar o standar do 502, ou seja, nao me orientam e estou perdido. E muito triste. Sou Brasileiro.

This information is great but if you do have a picture you need to check the frequency then you can get binding.
