We’ve enjoyed your Alaska trip. My family moved from Anchorage to the Seattle area in February 1958 (I was 12) by driving down on the AlCan Highway. One memorable trip and it has been great seeing some of places we passed through and the changes. BTW whole road was snow, ice, and dirt roads. Our vehicle was a 1954 Jeep Wagon with a 12 ft aluminum boat on top.
Hoping to make the trek North to Alaska one day with our 4 kids and let them see how amazing it is!! Now that we are Fulltime we are closer to making that a reality!
Pyrah's would be a highlight for me. I bet those veggies were delicious. Both of these boondocking sites were very pretty. Prettier than many of the pay sites I have seen. The musk ox farm is cool. I hate to admit that I had never heard of them until Kevin and Laura's video. I saw that you got to see the Northern Lights. Now I am truly envious of your trip up there this year. The Northern Lights have always been the only thing that drew me to Alaska. I am looking forward to that video.
Thank you for respecting nature......you have been their three days and NO trash left all over the place.....sad all the videos posted recently showing these wonderful spots left trashed....
That mountain view from the Pyrah’s u-pick farm is so familiar to me. Years ago we picked veggies and dug for potatoes at that farm. You would have driven past Eagle River, where we used to live, on the way to Anchorage. Miss that place a lot...lived there 13 years. Looking forward to seeing your videos from the Anchorage area.
Paul somebody had to be a camera man. The potatoes are so good fresh from the ground. I didn't see any but green beans and peas are very sweet. Carrots are awesome. Didn't see them either. Cool cool idea. Great views. Thanks for sharing. ByeBye
Oh my it’s a bro mance lol what great friends you have , the views are a big wow factor ,not the most pretty of animals ,the musk ox I am taking about , thanks for sharing once again
Hola ! from--- Texas. There is always a first-like Paul i myself go to H E B here and pick my veggies off the shelf but Paul you need to learn new things --(maybe) LOL. Be safe.
You sound kinda pampered. Never picked fruits or veggies? Never had your own garden? Had to go to grocery to buy them. I didnt catch where you were from..but this amazes me!
Pampered!? That's hilarious! I grew up on a farm in Canada. Milked cows from my early teens, baled hay and did all the farm stuff. Sometimes you have to figure out if I'm being serious or just pulling everyone's chain. Lol!
@@LifeWithPaulLorena Had to watch the video again to clarify..it was the point in the video when you said you didnt know why you had to pick stuff and usually just go to the grocery store grab stuff off the shelf...or how to cut it etc..approx 6:02 mins in the video...less fun the shopping?...that was my point I guess..which after your comment back about working on a farm..doesnt make sense.
There are about 130,00 bears in Alaska. Trust me, where ever you venture in Alaska, a bear is not far away. Trust me, bears know where the salmon are. I commerical fished for halibut in the Cook Inlet. Halibut is a bottom fish, they do not approach shallow water along the shoreline. The fish you see along the shore are a late run of salmon. Your Alaska trip is making me homesick.
We haven't had any major issues Leonard. We have had a couple of things since coming back from Alaska and we'll talk about them in an upcoming video soon.

Now I know our one cat must be related to the musk ox. He sheds large clumps of hair from May to Sept.. Now I know what to do with it to make some money. Sweeny hats and gloves.
Enjoying the videos! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Safe travels 😊🇺🇸

Loved the pick your own place and Lorena did such a great job. Nothing like fresh vegies. Beautiful footage of the area. Thanks!

My grandfather always said 'No man worth his salt is without a pocket knife'!
He's probably right! Lol!
Was there end of June. My brother lives at Palmer, so that was our base for exploring. You've gone to many places I was at this summer!
Love all the sights you take in! Thx
Got really hungry for a salad when you were picking those veggies!
Any Grey Poupon mustard Kevin.... can't get any fresher veggies than that...yummy

We NEVER leave trash and usually leave with more trash than we came with...that's how it should be done!
Great video. Glad you were able to reach out and touch someone. Lol

Paul and Kevin don't have anything to cut with? I never leave the house without a pocket knife , I thought all men carried a pocket knife?
HAHAHA...wandering about A U PICK Garden without a Folding Buck Knife? And you call yourself s Vegans? LOL
I've never carried a pocket knife. I know Kevin does. I guess we should turn in our man cards! Lol!

cool amusk ox farm ... I've not seen this one but UAF has a farm and I've been there
How was that large zucchini? I find them not so good when they get that big. Small and delicious is best! How fun, though at the u-pick farm!
It was pretty good!
You can pick zucchini by twisting them off of the plant ;)
Now you tell us! :)
Me gusta tu Mexicanita!
Yo tambien! :)
Just curious Paul, you haven't made any mention of maintenance issues with the rig. Have you had any issues at all?
We haven't had any major issues Leonard. We have had a couple of things since coming back from Alaska and we'll talk about them in an upcoming video soon.
That river has eaten many houses over the years
No doubt. It was eating the shore where we were.
An other fellow RVer who is also in Alaska has seen a lot of bears, but she boondocks all the time
The water looks so cloudy, a different kind of cloudy. WHat's in the water that makes it look like that.
It is silt.
If it's a glacier fed river, it will have a lot of silt, as Summit Dave mentioned.
Anchorage has half of Alaska's population... Wow

We did not see any bear when we were there.
Fresh is best. I grew up on dairy farm we grew vegetables too. I miss having fresh veggies. Store bought most time has no good flavor.
👍👍👍
✌

LOVE that wide angle Lens...but move the cam SLOWLY please? (motion sickening!) :)
You will not find sharks and halibut in that river.
You mean salt water fish can't swim 100 miles up river in fresh water? I joke Mark, I joke! Lol!
American Pickers fear not.
Exactly! Lol!
Paul is pitiful. Not only a vegan, but doesn't know how to pick them. Like she said, learn.
I'm not vegan and that's why we invented grocery stores! Lol!
