    I have this clutch and not happy with it at all its very inconsistent ....i installed the clutch with the springs that come with it and the engagement was way too low so i ordered the 10K springs and thats where it gets even worse...when the clutch is cold, just started, the engagement was close to 10k but after running it for not even 5 mins the engagement rpms started dropping rapidly....my car is a DBXL with a 29cc Zenoa with stock gearing vertigo clutch bell..all new...not running in high grass, just messing around on the street and some offroad...a football field...leave the car off for a 1/2 hr and the clutch engagement rpms are back up around 10k then about 2 mins later the clutch starts dropping those rpms again..those little clutch shoe springs are failing under a little heat..i'm going back to the stock zenoa clutch shoes with the 9500 rpm spring it never faded and was very consistent...my MOD clutch is for sale....P.S....it does not hit harder..it was pretty flacid....i've been in this hobby for over 35 years, i'm a life long mechanic and my DBXL is tuned spot on.

      Sorry to hear that bud! I’ve had no issues with mine but sad to hear your story. Thanks for the input, enjoy the dbxl 👊👊

    Hi there great video!, I installed this in my 5t race truck and it seems to slip in the beginning until it gets some heat in it...do you think this normal? Or have done something wrong?

      Do you run the stock clutch bell Carrier or do you have an aftermarket one? If you have the stock one you need to drill holes in it so that way it cools down the clutch.

    Any videos of actually putting it on motor and removing from motor

    What happens when one spring breaks do you have to pull the whole thing apart to fix it????

    • @largescalercnation
      @largescalercnation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just remove the top carbon fiber cover off, remove the shoe with the broken spring and put it back together 🙂👍

    My Clutch is grabbing Prematurely while it should be in idle... what could be going on?

    • @largescalercnation
      @largescalercnation  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Normally means a spring isn’t installed correctly. Verify that you can’t move the shoes with your fingers. Sounds like a shoe is loose which will engage the bell at Low RPMs

      Now if it’s a used clutch you most likely broke a spring, your clutch came with 2 extra springs for this situation, so just swap it out. If you still have any questions feel free to call Matt at MOD and he would be glad to walk you through it Brother 🍻🍻

    Would you recommend this over the Oddified clutch, kinda similar style. Been thinking of upgrading my stock zenoah 320 clutch, but not sure about dropping 150 for one.

    • @largescalercnation
      @largescalercnation  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes Sir! It’s the best clutch on the market and you can rebuild it after it wears out instead of buying a whole new clutch

    How you adjust the engagement?

    • @largescalercnation
      @largescalercnation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They sell different spring rate kits. The spring’s are set for different RPM engagements. Link below:👇

    Does it come assembled

    You can't get rebuild kits for it. MOD stocks nothing and never gets any in stock.
