    I am thrilled to fiind this lesson. I work with large sets of data (trademark records) I can link each trademark image to its trademark registration numer. Question: Can these images be linked to an on-line data base? Does this process increase the file size? What happens when you email/send the spreadsheet to a client--do they lose the images and just get the red x in a square? this is brilliant and I am grateful for your time.

      The size depends upon the size and resolution of your images. The images stay with the file so if you send it to someone else they will also see the images in the notes. I don't believe that you can tie the images directly to a database within a note even if you tried to program it. You could load a database into a separate worksheet and then access them when you are inserting the picture into the note. Hope this helps.

      Now I wish I knew how to make a macro do most of this except pick the picture. And save it outside any specific notebook so I can run it in any notebook. But I struggle to do that 😅

    This is great! Thank you :) Do you how you can rotate images when you insert them like this ? For some reason when I insert them they are always rotated the wrong way!

    • @AnnetteSlager
      @AnnetteSlager  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I will try to resolve your issue. When you insert an image it always appears as the original is. You can of course change the size to whatever you want. What kind of image are you trying to insert? When you select the picture use one from the Bing Image Search and then let me know if that appeared correctly.

    • @AnnetteSlager
      @AnnetteSlager  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can place any size image in a note. You can use the size handles on the bottom right corner of the note to resize the image to whatever you want.

    Ok I just tried every thing you said and I am not getting the same options you get when I right click with the four-arrow cursor. As a matter of fact just about everything is grayed out. I have a Mac I am thinking that is the reason. Noticed someone else had the same problem and they had a Mac as well. You didn't reply to their comment.

      You need to watch more of the video. The video explains all of that. It doesn't start with putting the picture in the note.

      Right click on the border of the note rather than the body of the note and you'll see the other options. This one tripped me up too.

    Very informative video. Will the size of the file too big to be attached in a email.

    • @AnnetteSlager
      @AnnetteSlager  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most likely not. It depends on the size of your workbook and the size and resolution of your images.
