Go for Nikon d5600 without any second thought. If video is really not that important. Nikon d5600 is best for photography in this range with decent video capability.

How's the dynamic range ( with no. of STOPS ) of D3500?
The D3400 has 13.9 stops of dynamic range according to DXOMARK. D3500 should atleast be about 14 stops, I guess. (DXOMARK didn't test the D3500)

A6000 is far superior than D3500.
Only thing you will miss is amic port on the A6000.
A6000 has greater auto focus, better low light performance, tiltable display, more auto focus points, EVF and also the fact that it is a mirrorless camera and D3500 is a DSLR.
