Dude, your pacing for giving tutorials is spot on. You don’t drag with idle chat and you keep a steady pace, where viewers can pause n play your video, definitely gonna subscribe.

yeah am used to those tuts where the person starts by introducing adobe for a minute then explains what after effects is for the next 3 minutes, wastes time creating a comp and then explains what trapcode is for the next 5 mins then only then he starts the real tutorial.
      so much BS

dude! this is one of the best, most concise, explanative, tutorials I've ever seen! I've probably watched over 999 AE tutorials but you do a great job of humbly explaining common pitfalls and key parameters to check. I had to watch over 12 particular videos before I could understand my velocity was the one thing messing up all my work. THANK YOU!!!

A trick I always use instead of masks are linear wipes. A linear wipe at 25% completion, 0º angle, and 200 feather works and is less complicated than creating a mask for your auxiliary particle layer. Great tutorial by the way - thanks!

I think I’ve returned to this tut like 7 times just to remind myself of different tweaks and tricks you present. And to hear your wonderful speaking style. Like an awesome character from South Park (meant as a compliment). Thank you!

I have one issue tho, the Matte layer at 8:53 where you add feathered mask, if I use this smoke composition somewhere else where I want smoke to be, I can see mask, there is like a black feathered circle.
Any way I can get rid of this, hide it ?

    • @VisionaryFire

Pre-compose all of your smoke layers, and set the layer to screen. That should do the trick.
