Listening to this in a war-torn place; the tension is thicker than fudge yet Pile somehow continues to be my tranquil high-tower and for that I am thankful.
Pile, you are the most incredible band I have ever listened to. Your innovation is amazing. Please continue with whatever this new style is because it's phenomenal.

got into Pile recently and been making up for lost time, this song is one of those weird ones that feel Important for some indefinable reason. It and the whole of all fiction have been on solid repeat for a good two weeks now, can't wait for more

Immediately floored by this song on my first listen. Holy shit.
Not entirely sure-algorithmically speaking-how I got here, but I decided to give it a go and.....I am very glad I did so.
I'm not sure I've even got a hook to hang this sound on in my weirdo repertoire of musical oddity but I am down with this, somewhere in the realms of something like an-I don't know, an ultra-subdued Twilight Sad, maybe? That's more a sort of melancholic-vibe association than sound, though.
Whatever it is, you've got a new listener. If some ridiculous order of your entire discography in physical formats appears on Bandcamp, apologies and/or you're welcome, as preferred.
