Why companies practice corporate social responsibility

Philanthropy has been an integral part among companies nowadays. Be it for boosting public relations or reducing corporate taxes, giving back sure does play a key role in developing healthy business life in this time of dire need for social responsibility.

The act of helping others by passion really earn my respect. I must say that CSR is a heroic act that business owners do. CSR is a part of good governance where the practice of consideration of human welfare is held continuously by the company over a period of time. I really do appreciate this philanthropist act of helping musical students on their studies since I am also once a musical students who had benefited from good-hearted people. In my opinion, this way of the business owners to help humanity must be exercised especially in the levels of locality ensuring effectiveness of the act.

I do appreciate 'companies practice corporate social responsibility' because they are progressing and making huge profit due to the sacrifice of common men & women. Thus it is fitting that they do support the development cause of common people.

Hi, I have a question? is the CSR is being enforced rather than voluntary embrace? This fact alone makes it clear that the businesses themselves do not contribute to the CSR and that they have to regulate to do so.
