I think you are under pricing…. Maybe I am not understanding you. I charge typically for gutter guards 10 to 14 per linear foot. The mesh that you use is good but steep roofs and heavy rains are the cons for these guards. With the package that I offer is 1 time cleaning, annual cleaning, 2 times per year. I don’t know there is so many ways to run a business it’s all about what works for you. I live in an area that the cost of living is 10% less than the national average which of course contributes to lower wages.
@@Patrick-jj3ph I think you’re right, my price for the guards is probably too low. Thanks for letting me know how much your charge, it definitely helps! I know I’ve run into guys who are lower price for the guards in my area, so that has probably skewed things in my mind. I don’t exactly like when customers choose to have guards installed anyways, and would rather clean their gutters for the next several years, so it’s worth raising the price. With regards to the packages, I don’t offer a package for multiple cleanings ina year, BUT I do offer a discounted rate to clean within 6 months. Of course, it’s rare that anyone has taken me up on it, so I’ve been playing around with package ideas as well. I think ultimately the best package would be more of a combination of services multiple times in the year: 1 house wash, 1 driveway cleaninf, 2 gutter cleanings, 4 window cleanings, all rolled into a monthly bill or paid in full up front for a discount. Thanks for the comment, these conversations are definitely helpful!
@@ericgarcia5706 I’ve also seen package options for multiple cleans in the year, something else to consider. Ideally this winter I will bundle multiple services with multiple appointments rolled into a monthly payment perhaps with a discount for paying in full up front. We’ll see, I know Responsibid has ways to do this, but it’s harder to make it easy for customers to understand online, so maybe it’s easiest to present it to customers with a brochure at time of their first service then follow-up emails
26’ is a beast, that’ll keep your arms looking beefy 😆 that’s the heaviest ladder ever I’ve got an 18 ft Gorilla ladder that I use the most, but also have a 22 ft and 26 ft, both of which I rarely use but keep on the truck just in case for chandeliers. If I need a taller ladder I have a 28 ft extension ladder.

Great info!
Awesome video! I’ve been trying to wrap my head around offering packages for gutters the same way I do for windows and this was exactly what i needed
