You missed out on the Shops expanded mod. It makes all the shops in the game have more relevant items added to their inventories. It's really helpful if you have trouble finishing the community center, you can just throw money at it without selling out to Joja Mart
Stoffton is a town mod that adds lots of shops that sell Community Center items. My favorite is Remmington, the fisherman. Later on game you find out that he uses Magic Bait to fish, so you can buy out of season fish. Thanks to him, I can finish the Fish Tank bundle early on, because he eventually sells Walleye and Tiger Trout. There is also a supermarket that sells crops, and even Fern Island crops like Pineapple, Taro Root, Banana and Mango. The price is steep, but you can buy the crops, put on seed maker and start raising them on first Summer. There is also a blacksmith who sells Iridium Bars, so you can, if you want, upgrade your Pickaxe to Iridium Quality before you enter Skull Cavern. There is also Garden Village, with other shops. You can buy pretty much any vanilla dishes there, and Artisan Goods, and some high-end clothing. I got my groom outfit to marry in Garden Village.
I also really recommend the Skull Cavern Elevator mod, especially if you struggle with combat like I do (I have a disability that impacts my hand mobility). Before using it, I could never get far down without spamming staircases, so I didn’t have much access to those higher tier resources and drops no matter how late in the game I was.

NPC map locations is one of my favorite QOL mods, it’s not 100% perfect but it makes finding certain NPCs sooo much easier. That one, automate, and bigger backpack are pretty much the only mods I use on a regular basis.
I’d recommend the immersive sprinkler and scarecrow mods. They allow you to place the sprinklers and scarecrows on the corner of 4 tiles. It also expanded the size of the sprinklers by 1, so 2x2, 4x4, and 6x6 for each sprinkler. It’s my go to qol mod
I'm surprised this mod wasn't showcased in the shopping section, but there's a mod that I like that allows Pierre to sell Y2 seeds in the first year. Which means not having to rely on the travelling cart to get that Y1 red cabbage seed.

I think the mod ToDew would be great in this QoL list(maybe some of the other ones I list below that I have installed as well). You mentioned you would be doing another video so you might mention them. And what I mention isn't supposed to be a QoL mod list. Just the mods that I use currently. I got into this game just over 2 weeks ago due to the summer sale. Been thinking of getting this game for years but I don't play cozy games. The games I have played don't fit that category AFAIK. The first thing I did was mod SDV. I only played 30-40 minutes of unmodded SDV. Yes, really. Lol. The mods I installed are, SMAPI(needed for most mods), Console Commands(I think this gets installed with SMAPI automatically), Content Patcher(Surprise! Needed for most mods), and Clear Glasses(a git hub/nexus mod that is essentially the updated version of Sprite Master which changes the game graphics from pixel graphics to a more smoothed look, I needed this to be able to enjoy the game as before it bothered my eyes to look at the game and hence this was the first kind of mod I looked for). Then within a day or two I installed Convenient Inventory(auto stack things from your inventory to chests nearby that have the same item, while being able to favorite items so they get ignored), Generic Mod Config(mod menu in the game for managing settings of mods installed), NPC Map Locations, Sound Tweaker(I haven't actually messed with it but it's ready), and UI 3 in 1 theme color. I do have other mods that I just installed but these previous ones are the main mods I have used for my playthrough. The other mods I am using now are UIInfoSuite2(info mod for a chunk of things in the game, I found it on github as the OG one isn't updated on Nexus), Skip Intro, ToDew(you can create in game reminders that overlay part of your screen, very useful), BetterShopMenu(brings categories to items, I haven't actually used it yet, I installed it yesterday), GMCMOptions(seems like an add-on for Generic Mod Config and is needed for BetterShopMenu IIRC), and lastly AutomateToolSwap(I just installed this, I think this will be useful). 15 mods total including dependency mods. I'm always looking for more mods that might enhance the experience of this game. Mods Listed Without Explanations; SMAPI, Console Commands, Content Patcher, Clear Glasses, Convenient Inventory, Generic Mod Config, NPC Map Locations, Sound Tweaker, UI 3 in 1 theme color, UIInfoSuite2, Skip Intro, ToDew, BetterShopMenu, GMCMOptions, and AutomateToolSwap. Yes, I barely played the vanilla version and these mods to some people I'm sure aren't QoL, different definitions and all that so if it's not QoL for you then it's not QoL for you. I love using the spawner mod to make a “starting chest” because in my mind gramps had supplies. So I’ll put like 2 quality sprinklers, a few fertilizer, “left over” seed packets, etc that maybe survived the long time until we get there. 😊 I only started this tho after 100% the game, I also do this for my kiddos to give them a helping hand in the beginning. They love when I set up farm layouts for them.

Hello~ sadly the Easier Monsters & Harmless Monsters aren't able to be downloaded anymore... I wish I can download it. I don't like fighting monsters 😭
Well let’s break it down! Quality of Life in Video Games is defined as ‘features or aspects of a game that ensures a smooth gameplay experience for the players’! It is designed to make the game easier to play for those who want to play it a certain way! I said this in the video and another comment, but quality of life is different for everyone! For someone this may look like a skull cavern elevator mod as they struggle with that aspect and could affect an ongoing disability (shoutout to one of the amazing members here who shared their story!). Quality of life could look like an automated fishing system, as they can not get that mini game down no matter what. Quality of life could be having the products in shops cheaper as they struggle to get money, and maybe enjoy romancing NPC’s and delving into their stories! There is not one single Quality of Life that is correct. These mods are designed to make certain aspects of the game easier for those who want that change. Mods I would download are different from one someone else would, because we want a different game play experience!!
A lot of these are just straight up OP AF cheats that are likely to make the game less fun because too easy. However saving clicks is great, automate mod is the best, timeSpeed also great to make days last a little longer for a more relaxed gameplay instead of frantically clicking. Pathspeed and reasonable levels.
BRO when are y’all gonna read the description before commenting these takes 😂😂 did you know majority of mods are actually cheats 👀👀 read the rest of the comments, and see how many of these mods have actually had a POSITIVE QoL effect on users. Just because these don’t serve you, doesn’t mean they don’t serve others!!!
I feel like I need to make a second video to this because I am frustrated repeating myself ahaha. QOL is DIFFERENT for everyone!! What is QOL for you, is different for others. There are additionally, thousands and thousands of mods, so I was only able to pick a handful. Quality of Life is a way to make a game easier and more achievable for players, for those who struggle with combat, have an easier monster mod, those who dislike using a wiki page to find each characters loved items, have a mod that makes all items liked, and so forth. Tbh any mod that changes the way the game was intended to play as is going to be considered a cheat. No matter what it does. I do plan on making another video to showcase MORE, but never forget what works for you won’t work for everyone. For me, I’d maybe only consider the extra time mods here, but again I’ve been playing the game for 8 years, I’m familiar with it all. It’s a big game for a new player, considering there’s a full blown wiki page.
@@deofoldo ah yes, modding your game technically is cheating?? so truthfully i cannot win. But a lot of y''all dont seem to understand that Quality of Life is different for everyone. QoL is to help make an INDIVIDUAL GAMERS experience more enjoyable and easier for THEM. I real just did not get ones that would SERVE you on this list, but they have served others! Don't worry, next part coming this week ;)
The point of gaming is having fun so why not throw in bit of mods to make it more fun and enjoyable, but again fun is subjective. It's a cozy game after all not a competitive one
Gotta copy paste this message at some point LMAO Quality of Life is DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. What works for me won’t work for you, what works for you won’t work for the next player. I’ve been playing since release, these don’t fully serve my purpose or help me, but a new player who doesn’t want to spend hours on the wiki could benefit from the gifting mods. QOL is different for everyone.
Go and search up quality of life in video games. I get that it appears like cheats to you, but the mods that work for you, don’t work for everyone else. Quality of Life, is a way to make the game smoother and more enjoyable for THAT PLAYER. we are all different, play differently and also have different needs when it comes to gaming. These have worked for so many people, and cater to different people’s play styles. This game is a lot. It’s very overwhelming for new players, some of these mods will help them. For me and you? I’ve been playing since day 1, time mods will serve me, anything else does not serve MY PLAYSTYLE. But, will serve someone else’s.
As I said, quality of life is different for everyone! I was talking to a close friend of mine, and she loves the game but gets so overwhelmed and didn’t want to be on the wiki on the time to see what characters liked etc. All the gifting mods shown here would help her have a better game experience. However for myself, the only mod here I would consider installing are those that pause or extend time. Two different players, who play the game differently. Quality of life is DIFFERENT for EVERY player. I’m sorry if these mods didn’t fit for your style of gameplay, but they have fit for a larger chunk! I am hoping to make another part at some point in the future, so would love to hear what you want to see!
Please refer to some of the other comments I’ve made, never forget QOL is different for every player. CJB mods absolutely cheats, but other stuff can help someone’s experience in the game - which is QOL

This should be called "The BEST CHEAT MODS for Stardew Valley" like what is this 💀💀💀💀💀
BRO when are y’all gonna read the description before commenting these takes 😂😂 did you know majority of mods are actually cheats 👀👀 read the rest of the comments, and see how many of these mods have actually had a POSITIVE QoL effect on users. Just because these don’t serve you, doesn’t mean they don’t serve others!!!
Good video, but i was hoping REAL QoL mods...
Its all cheat mods for farming...
And for combat
Its all cheat mods 😂
These arent quality of life these are like cheat mods lol. Big difference
Gotta copy paste this message at some point LMAO
Quality of Life is DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. What works for me won’t work for you, what works for you won’t work for the next player. I’ve been playing since release, these don’t fully serve my purpose or help me, but a new player who doesn’t want to spend hours on the wiki could benefit from the gifting mods.
QOL is different for everyone.
yeah cool video but i only saw cheats, which take away the real experience of the game
But, will serve someone else’s.
i thought would be quality of life but almost every mod its just cheat mods ...
@@cozymaddyiee the wiki part is fine, I just dont like those like water by himself
Why hack the game and soften it by calling it "mods"
??? Do you know what modding means?? Why watch a video with ‘mods’ in the title to just leave this comment LOL
If you think this hacking a game, you're pretty clueless
Most of these aren't qol, it's cheating.
Please refer to some of the other comments I’ve made, never forget QOL is different for every player. CJB mods absolutely cheats, but other stuff can help someone’s experience in the game - which is QOL
