My friends grandma was surrounded by family on her deathbed when she closed her eyes. Everyone thought that was the moment. After a minute or so she opened her eyes and said ‘’Shit. . I’m still here huh?”.
I read that Groucho requested cremation in a letter to his Lawyer. 2 weeks later, after cremation had taken place, the Lawyer got another letter from Groucho saying "I changed my mind."
My mom’s last words to myself and my sister were that she wasn’t going to make it. That she loved us & to take care of each other. I knew at that point she was not going to make it. She passed away later that afternoon.😔
I wasn't present when any of my family members died, but after they did, I remember looking back and there was something remarkable about the last conversation we had. I can say that memory I last had with them, always brought me peace. RIP Beautiful Souls. Always tell your kids you love them everyday
yeah, I wasn't born yet either when my great grandparents and great great great grandparents died. I better make sure I keep everyone in one large group and never let them out of my sight; I'll just explain to them all, it's in case you die, you wouldn't want me to miss it. We've all had people close to us die sister. Who knows when it's game over. I wish you well, and I'd like to be able to prevent nice kind people from dying, but I can't, we can't do that. Just try and leave people like it's the last time you're going to ever see them. Most of the time it won't be the last time, but at least they'll know you genuinely care about them. I don't know how old you are, I don't know if you're a risk taker by nature, nor do I know what befall anyone completely out of the blue. We all have to reconcile death somehow. I've nearly, came very close on several occasions to dying beginning when I was 7. It's on a day like any other, you get up in the morning without the slightest inkling of what's about to happen. I've spent a lot of time thinking about death. If it's the death of someone close I try to remember the times we laughed together, I remember frequently and over time, although I miss them painfully, it still makes me smile to remember certain things. Where it comes to my own demise, I didn't exist before I was born, for all intents and purposes I was dead before birth, just like you and everyone else. Were you afraid then? I wasn't. I wasn't cold, scared, worried, hot, sad, happy, just the same as later. Leave a permanent mark of your thoughts and personality on social media if you want to be remembered in more detail. I can even laugh my own death off. Remember ALL those times when your alarm went off that bit too early and you rolled over in bed thinking, oh just one more hour; sometimes you thought, I just want to stay in bed all day today. I think to myself, try waking me up when I'm dead, the joke's on you suckers. No more peak hour traffic, no more running late, no more treading on lego in the middle of the night with bare feet. Just be well sister, ok. It may seem like all these comments are just randoms talking crap etc, but I can be fairly certain these are all real people with exactly the same concerns as you and I, but most don't give much thought behind the people making these comments. It seemed to me that you're susceptible to an existential crisis, try letting it go. You're gorgeous and kind and there's still people that give a shit. I know it hurts like all fuckery to lose someone close, but you aren't alone. Ever seen how many headstones in a cemetery? Imagine if each one of those headstones represented just ten living people who miss the people under them. Nearly everyone you see, if you go to a mall or something, has lost someone close in the last 6 months. Just do your best to be happy and live healthy so you live long. Then by the time you get old you'll be so frail you'll be thinking, I'm bloody sick of this, it's just getting too damn hard to get up in the morning. And seriously, even if you don't have kids yet, remember to look out for lego on the floor with bare feet when you do have your own kids; hotwheels cars are even worse, especially those hotwheels helicopters with pins at the top where the rotors sit. Sometimes looking up your family heritage online can help you when you find you had ancestors who were a big part of history or well accomplished. And saying love is immensely different to showing it. I rarely say it, but I've rarely heard it for a long time. My sons are goombers, and I tell them that often: they're young, if they're doing stupid crap that's going to cause themselves an injury, they're goombers. Someone has to tell them they're being stupid when they're being stupid or they'll never learn; that's what a father should do I suspect. I dunno, I never had one, but I think I'm probably showing them love just by not pissing off like my stinking reprobate father. But there's no guarantees, life doesn't come with a ticket affording you a certain number of days. I knew WW1 diggers, they were in their 90s when I knew them, but they told me something poignant that illustrated how they'd reconciled death. They made jokes about being dead by christmas, or tease each other about being dead by lunch time, but they told me, at least we got this old. There were blokes they knew who died at Gallipoli, or the Somme etc when they were all 17 or 18 etc. Just be healthy and build happy memories, or as many as possible. I'm sorry about the essay, but you just seemed forlorn and I hope there's something I';ve said that might make you feel at least a bit more at peace about death. It's a drag, but what can we really do. I don't see how resorting to myths and fables of any kind can reconcile the true gravity of it all for anyone who is truly enlightened. I sincerely wish you and your family well :)
I do remember seeing a sign saying super ted at home super ted was my teddy my brother.use to tease me with we had a bond he took drugs I help him get clean our dad was a drunk and violence my brother took beat blockers and had a drink he told his carers they still let him have heart blockers they didn't check on him in the night he swallowed his tongue and died 2006
As a recovering addict clean for over a year and 6 months this video hits hard. It makes me sad for all those who have suffered or are still suffering but proud I was able to fight my way out and continue life.
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! Now, please ask Jesus to make the rest of the journey with you. He's the dearest brother and the closest friend!! ❤️🙏
My first husband's last words to me were "I'm gonna wait for you, girl." My second husband's last words were the same, "when I get there, I'm going to find a comfortable place to sit down and wait for you. When I see you coning, I will run to you and never let you go!" He kissed me and said, "I've got to go now" and he slipped into a coma he never woke from. I think about them, waiting for me, and it gives me so much courage! Together, we will all go to see our Saviour!
😢😢😢God rest their souls. I wanna go home to Jesus....I wanna see all my brothers I served with that went home already. I wanna see little 4yo Ryder who drowned to death in front of me when I was 8. 😢 I wanna see my uncle, who was more of a dad for me growing up than my own dad...he drowned to death when I was 18. I wanna see my grandmother who died suffering from Alzheimer's and didn't know any of us when she went. I wanna see my friend and sister Blaine who was shot in the head. So tired of living with all this pain. I wanna go home to Jesus
My freind was not a celbrity, I was at his death bed, his last words, with his Irish lit he said, Don`t be sad, he grinned and said ~I`m going home~and passed on.

@@rweingradI understand what you mean by your commment, but have you investigated the illogical claims of Christian theology, as well as other views of divinity? I used to be a Christian until I really looked at the Bible’s claims. I was lied to since I was a child. I really wonder why people typically don’t question what they’re told to believe, even when it sounds crazy.
@Time and Chance I do appreciate your response, but it still doesn’t speak to Divine authorship of the Christian Bible. I’m familiar with the Bible, and was involved in formal ministry and apologetics for numerous years. I won’t go into all my ministry background, but suffice to say, I was a true believer. I’m a non-believer now due to sincerely studying the Bible that brought me to my current view. Also, I found it to be true that one cannot believe something true when they don’t believe it. Not to be crass, but I am incapable of believing in the Easter Bunny, for example. All of the background of the claim of the Easter Bunny don’t make sense, and truth claims should correspond with how things actually are. Thanks, again, for your kind reply.
Farley hit me the hardest. The fact that he idolized someone who lived such a destructive life and went on to do the same thing. Whatever he was missing in his life (and same for Belushi) he never found it and in the end he died alone.
@keithkoenig5320 read Romans 3:23, john3:16-18, Act 3:19a , Romans 10:13 I hope you will turn to Jesus for salvation, from a awful place called hell. God doesn't want you to go there. That is why he gave Jesus to die, to pay for our sins. If you won't accept Jesus as your Savior tho the only other place is hell and it IS a place of torment in fire. The Bible says so.
Seems awful callous to blame Princess Diana's death on her choice not to wear a seatbelt. She would also be alive today if the person driving had been sober or if the paparazzi hadn't acted rabid animals.
Diana would be alive today if, " her husband wasn't planning on having her killed in a car crash". He's a Ratbag Charles so convenient for him to have Diana out of the way. Hopefully he will die before The Queen passes away, he deserves nothing. Tree loving Scorpio as was Charles Manson. "Ah, they just did what they wanted to do"......I didn't do nuthin.

Even Steve Irwin's final words to his friend and cameraman Justin Lyons, were "I'm dying" after he was stabbed by a stingray with its venomous barb on its tail on September 4, 2006 (15 years ago)
Seeing the light fade from your loved ones eyes is something that almost broke me. What a wonderful yet weird science fiction we are in. Bless all you out there who lost that one close person and you feel like life is meaningless now. Keep your heads up.
When Groucho Marx died his lawyer read a letter to the family requesting cremation. 2 weeks after he was cremated. hIs lawyer read a second letter from Groucho. It said I changed my mind about being cremated 😂
This is a sad list all together but the saddest ones to me were John Belushi and Chris Farley. Both of them asked for one thing before the died and and they were left to die alone not to mention that a man is dieing and you take pictures of him, steal, and leave him to die.
he didn't even want to do that skit. his friends tried to prevent him from doing it. he hated doing it but he didn't want to disappoint people. that skit, although funny to a lot of people, really damaged him.
@@83plg Aw!! 💔 I feel bad about that. That sucks. Now I’m wondering about all the actors and actresses that are heavy or not so good looking how they feel when they have to play those parts?? Sometimes I already feel sorry for them but in this instance I guess I didn’t

In 1997 Chris Farley opened up about some of his biggest dreams on earth, with his desire to start a family with a beautiful wife and kids topping the list. Sadly, he never accomplished those dreams, as he passed away months later after overdosing on drugs in his apartment.

Farley, my favourite actor... Wish I could have been there to help him back onto his feet. Anyone who's capable of regularly bringing smiles and laughs to millions deserves a second chance.
Groucho not really a joke especially since he was being abused and his caretaker trying to gaslight and kill him. She got caught for it due to his son figuring it out.
Though he's not a real well known celebrity, legendary voice actor Mel Blanc's characters certainly were- Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and on and on and on. The "Man of a 1000 Voices" last recorded words (in a tv commercial on the day he was hospitalized) were the same words that also appear on his gravestone- "That's All Folks".
You know he don’t watch SNL when he call John Belushi “One of the Original Seven Cast Members” Instead of “One of the Original Not Ready for Prime Time Players”
@@joelspringman7748 mine too. 😞 He passed away in a hospital earlier this year, gripping my dad's hand, while on life support. Unfortunately, because of Covid, we had to leave, and he passed away that night. It pains me that we left him alone.
@@mark1h2023 if it's any consolation, my mom once said she didn't want to die alone, however, when the moment came, she hung on until the first time in three days that I left her room. As I was leaving my last words to her were, "I'll be right back, but if you really need to go, I will understand." The nurse called exactly 12 minutes after I got home. She said some people wait for permission to pass or they choose to go quietly & without their last breath being the last thing the loved one remembers. I wish you and everyone in this thread peace and joy.
I hate to say it, but had she been in America, or possibly the UK, she'd most likely still be alive. As a nurse we save patients with much less damage. From reading about this first responders and ER all went too slow because of who she was. Never happen in the United States.
@Edward Lagrossa: I was at Jim Morrison’s last concert in New Orleans. As he literally fell off the stage drunk/drugged out of his mind -- I said to my friend “he’s not long for this world” -- and sadly he wasn’t.
Dale Earnhardt, a famed racing driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, stated during the 2001 Daytona 500; "Richard (team owner), if they don't do something to these cars, it's gonna end up killin' somebody.". Nobody heard from him after that. On the final lap that same race, he struck the wall in the final turn and was killed instantly. It's interesting that Dale almost knew that someone would soon pass away in a NASCAR event, but he just never expected it to be him.
Farley may have had a chance if that woman called 911 instead of leaving him there. Regardless he was so far gone...it wouldn't of been long after til he left this earth
I'm very surprised Steve Irwin's last words aren't on here. His last words we're spoken to his cameraman, Justin. As everyone was trying to save him and do everything they could, Steve calmly looked up at Justin and said to him "I'm dying".
Sadly Farley walked down the same path of Belushi because he idolized him and spent much of his career trying to follow in his footsteps, it’s really sad and he will be missed
I was 12 when Lennon died I had no idea all the songs I loved that were his or influenced by him. I cried when Chris Farley died. Like him and John Belushi I was an addict and almost died thank God divine intervention and the severe need to live come to me but at it's own pace.I sympathize with any addict struggling.
It's hard when we lose family or friends, and whatever last interactions haunt us for years. Because those moments are so tragic. I lost so many people in one year. And it's so hard to move forward and through life after.
Jesus is Lord! ✝️ John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that he gave his own begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life”
I just want to say that Jesus loves all of you. I used to be agnostic and I was always questioning about the purpose of life and how we are here and I always wondered if there was a God or not. I went through a period where I was trying to find purpose and fulfillment in something and that was getting money and becoming a better version of myself. I was chasing it and I realized that it would also pass away anyway and that it doesn’t make sense for money or grinding to be my purpose. Not saying money is bad but it’s definitely not the purpose of life. But eventually I got more hooked into God and who the higher power really was and I actually had a supernatural encounter with the highest power and I can tell you it is Jesus is and that day I had it, it changed me and my heart from that day forever. It was the most joyful and at peace that I have ever felt in my entire life. I can tell you that Jesus can do the same for you and he can help you through anything you are facing now. Jesus is the one that can fulfil your true purpose in life. Following Jesus is not about a religion but a relationship with him. And Life is temporary and so is everything we chase on is as well but what is eternal, is your eternal life in heaven, and Jesus is the only way to get there. I believe that if you truly with your heart call on him he will reveal himself to you. I hope you seek the truth and seek a relationship with Jesus because he loves you and he died for you on the cross so you don't have to suffer for eternity. God bless you all
Stan laurels last worlds were something too. Just before he died, Laurel told his nurse he would like to go skiing. The nurse said "Are you a skier, Mr Laurel?". He replied, "I'm not, but I'd rather be doing that than having these needles stuck in me".
The last coherent words my dying mother said were, after gesturing towards an upper corner of her hospital room, "A ring around his head." I think she saw Jesus.
Yes my gram told me Jesus would be taking her home soon and then exactly a week later I got a call that she was struggling and wouldn't make it much longer I was caught in traffic praying to God that I would be able to tell her how much I love her give her one last kiss and hold her hand in mine one last time. Over and over I begged just one more please just one more. I made it just mins in time..I told her we would be ok and how much she was loved. I gave her a kiss and she said just one more. He's waiting..ever since I have believed whole heartedly!
My mothers last words were “take care of your little brother”. When her heart actually stopped she wasn’t smiling, a few minutes later she was. I think she saw her parents, whom she hasn’t seen since she was a child as they passed away unexpectedly.
@@doalex2085 Sam Kinison who died in a head-on collision in 1992 said to no one in particular: “I don’t want to die. I don’t want to die.” But then there was a pause as if Kinison were listening to someone. Then he asked, “But why?” and after another pause “Okay, Okay, Okay.” A friend who was with him said, “Whatever voice was talking to him gave him the right answer and he just relaxed with it.”
I am a near death experience survivor. I had died multiple times en route to the hospital and 3 more times in the hospital. I experienced something that can not be explained. All I have to say is that when it's my time. I will go weather I like or not. Get yourself right with yourself and your beliefs. I hope that everyone in this video and the comments will rest in peace when its your time.
The one that still really hurts and gives me pause to this day is the death of Heath Ledger. His last words before he popped a bunch of pills and never recovered were "I know what I'm doing." Nope. Unless you've done them before with the exact dosage, you don't. Wish he were still here.
One of the funniest if not thee funniest was from Jack Soo who died during an operation for throat cancer. His fellow castmate, Hal Linden, from Barney Miller was present and the last words he said were to Hal saying "It must have been the coffee" which was a running joke on the show about his bad coffee. I loved how they didn't write him off as having been transferred to the mayors office or something else but rather did a complete episode of a tribute to him and ended it with all the cast members raising their coffee mugs to him.
It's a horrible feeling to know you are dieing and not to have a careing face or hand there with you to have brought so much pleasure to so many people through there life and not have any one to tell you it's ok and to be there hold your hand to comfort you
The main thing that killed ledger was benzodiazepines. I was foolish enough at one time to think they were harmless. Had to find out the hard way that they are extremely dangerous.
3 benzos (Xanax, Restoril, Valium) & 2 prescription pain killers (Perc & Vicodin) along with Unisom....who in the actual F wrote him 5 CNS depressant meds?!? Whatever "doc" it was literally sent him to the grave.
@@johnwright291 I'm doubtful he scored on the streets. Celebs have ritzy personal doctors on staff & go by aliases for med pickups. Regardless, either way of how he got them....that's a literal death wish to ingest so many meds like that. Sad, very sad.

My parents were in their early 20s and my Dads friend came to stay from America a lot but I was born in 88 and all I remember is he wore a cowboy hat and he brought VHS’s ( around mid nineties I think) and he recorded SNL (reruns I’m guessing seeing as vhs wasn’t around in the 70s) for us and bought it over we didn’t get SNL so it was a treat, there are so many people that came from that show! I distinctly remember the Richard Prior exorcist one and the cheeseburger skit. I watched it so much on a raggedy old vhs I knew and could explain to my other half why Garrett Morris had a cameo in Antman (SNL skit at a superhero part but they were the hero’s not fancy dress, Garrett was antman so he is technically the first Antman on screen, which is why his cameo is excellent)!
To me, the person with the most impactful last words, was Sam Kinison. He spoke to someone that nobody else could see as he died. If you never heard the account of his friend that was there, you can find it on line. It makes ya wonder. Also, not only was Groucho in on the joke, he'd probably been working on it his entire life!
@Radiant Siren We are both right. I had to look it up. Both Sam's brother, Bill, and his best friend, Carl La Bove, were there at his end. The account I had read was from Carl. It really makes you wonder, "How's it going to end?" As a side note, I think Sam's first words were probably, "you bitch, you threw me ouuuuuut!" But it just came out as "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Maybe Kinison was speaking to the Lord above. Kinison was studying to be a church minister before he became a comedian, and it is reported that he looked up above and said that it wasn't his time yet, only to retract it a minute later and say " okay, okay".
I had a near death experience once and everyone told me that after I regained consciousness, I started talking to someone that "wasn't there". I don't remember but they told me I referred to him as a Blue man in a white suit.
Too bad none of them called on Jesus with their last breath. I think I almost died in my sleep- I thought the end of the world had come, there was no light or noise anywhere in the world and I started frantically crying out to Jesus to save me and help me, and slowly I could see and hear and breathe again.
Make good on that.....make damn sure you keep up your end of that deal to get help....when you get Help from the otherside....you best keep your end....good luck in your new chance
My friend’s last words to me were “Yeah, I’m almost there, see ya.” Before he hung up the phone. He died in a car accident four years ago on the way to visit me when I was away at college. I’m still fucked up over it.
Please be at peace. It is nice that he was going to the trouble of coming to see you. Good friends are so special in life, just cherish the times you had together. I lost a best friend several years ago, and that's what I try very hard to do. He would not want you to be troubled.

@Time and Chance I do appreciate your response, but it still doesn’t speak to Divine authorship of the Christian Bible.

As a side note, I think Sam's first words were probably, "you bitch, you threw me ouuuuuut!" But it just came out as "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Maybe Kinison was speaking to the Lord above.

But how do you know that?perhaps they did. I read Chris Farley had a rosary in his hand . we cannot know their last moments.
@@jennyrose9454 that's true, I hope they did. :)
With out God, we are all utterly without hope.
strange thing about john lennon. in the song come together which was recorded in 1969, john mutters "shoot me" throughout the song.....
Princess Diana did not deserve the life she had, she loved and was giving and selfless and treated so unfairly.
Just amazed at the number of people trying to make this about them. Amazing
My friend’s last words to me were “Yeah, I’m almost there, see ya.” Before he hung up the phone.
He died in a car accident four years ago on the way to visit me when I was away at college. I’m still fucked up over it.
💜
Please be at peace. It is nice that he was going to the trouble of coming to see you. Good friends are so special in life, just cherish the times you had together. I lost a best friend several years ago, and that's what I try very hard to do. He would not want you to be troubled.
So very sorry 😔
Everything has an end..except sausages, they have 2.
Dale Earnhardt's last TV interview he said " you going to see something you have never seen before"
I love how they said that Chris Farley had Marijuana in his system when he died as if that effected anything
*affected

@@chilliecheesecake Meow! Some do find the correction(s) of a total stranger's rudimentary spelling error, a huge sign of intelligence and, as such, quite attractive. To each their own. 🕊
I was in high school and college when Farley ruled the comedy world. I used to party with my bros and watch him wreck the entire cast of SNL. I honestly bought the People magazine with him on the cover, with news of his death. I cried when I read it. His last words kind of haunt me
