I am going with two 12" VFL Comp Signature Subs. I was recommended a Soundigital 12k Evo2x amp for them. Does that amp hit hard, does it hit that low bass pounding punch?

Will do great for a pair of those 12" VFL on the 12k, just make sure you go the electrical to support that much power and you can tell they do great on subs like this video so you'll be fine.
