This was one of the best nights that I was lucky enough to watch live. I didn't expect to see you guys together, or to be gasping for breath laughing at what LOOKS like a simple board game. I think the ending (with special guest) deserves a spot in the year-end highlight reel.
Fun Fact about this game: The German name for Ludo is "Don't get mad, pal!" (German: "Mensch, ärgere dich nicht!") If you watched the video you can propably guess why that name in particular is very fitting.
_"Sometimes you feel like a nut (Almond Joy), sometimes you don't (Mounds)!"_ I *love* those candy bars! Though, why does Mounds have to be *dark chocolate...?* 😕
I remember playing this but the rules were frustrating unlike here instead of colors in the middle we had "stairs" numbered from 1 to 6 and the rules they told me when i played was when you reach the middle you have to roll each stairs number to go up it and finish
Wow, looks like something my family in Mexico used to play but it was called "Tabla" over there... well we called it Tabla. We played with almost the exact same rules as this game but instead we used 5 marbles pieces instead of 4 pieces, and the only way you could get a marble on the board was if you could land a 1 from a dice roll, and if you landed a 6 you could roll again, other than that it is the same game as this one. I remember family members betting 100 pesos each game lol, not to mention some heated fights over that game since there was money involved (My whole family on my mothers' side likes to gamble)
played this game as a kid with my family out of a homemade wooden board and marbles, there was a single slot in the middle of the board that you could use to skip half the map by getting you pwn out with a 6, roll another 6 place pwn in middle hole, then a 1 to get them out 8 spaces from your homes base. loved that game and the family moments
I'm not sure how this is "better than Sorry", this is just Sorry with less depth, especially if you play Sorry by the "adult" rules in the rulebook that have you draw a hand of cards that you play for more strategy.
Simmons, I've been waiting on this just to comment. So, I have this game as well. If you have this, Have you played "Hit and Blow"? It sounds super lewd, But I think its a great game. I'm super addicted to it. Give it a try if you haven't.
After watching speedruns of clubhouse games, I realise how much Ludo is garbage and I hate it, it's probably as close as you can get to a game being up to the roll of the dice as you can get without it being 100%

Max: I need a five
Kenny: No one can get a five but me
(gets a five next turn)

Max not being red and Simmons not being green threw me off.
One of the best streams I had seen for a while... Start slow but it really funny after that.

this stream was so good.
So this is the original trouble
Yo Videogames should make a board game.
They have so many ideas that could be used in one.

almond joys got nuts
mounds dont.
mounds are nutless almond joys. kinda, still coconut nut, but yeah.
32:51 just shows how pissed off Kenny can get with RNG. It can really suck sometimes that is for sure.
For some reason watching this made me want to make an abstract economic board game, like a mix of Sorry and Monopoly. Idk I’m weird.
Call it Cutthroat Capitalism
Bro, If you think that your ideia is actually good, them go head.
