I think Leon beats Islam he’s a better striker and elite grappler with amazing takedown defense as well so I predict Leon to 49-46 him
I think if Belal loses to Leon then Islam will probably first face Arman, then move up to Welterweight and face Leon for the Welterweight belt. It will be very interesting to see what happens if Belal beats Leon at 304 because then that means Islam either can't move up, or Belal will have to move to Middleweight to give Islam a chance at the title. I assume Leon will win a close decision to Belal, then Islam fights and beats Leon, then fights Shavkhat in Abu Dhabi and then maybe some of the newcomers like JDM or Ian Garry. I think the toughest fight for Islam at 170 is Shavkhat and then if he fights someone like Ian Garry who's looking like he will one day get a title, it could be interesting just because Ian is massive for 170 and could easily fight at 185. The height difference would be problem for Islam but I see him beating Ian and JDM as well as Shavkhat and Leon at 170. Other than that, Colby and Gilbert Burns are easy fights for Islam that I don't think he'll take

Disagree, Islam does everything Shavkat does but better. Plus Shavkat is susceptible to getting hit hence the Geoff Neal fight, whilst Islam rarely gets caught against good strikers (Charles, Volk)

@@beko_bekovic I second that. Leon and Shavkat would be very tough match ups for Islam, even JDM would be a problem on the feet as well. I see Islam beating everyone at lightweight (Arman will be tough, but still lose imo), but he won’t get too too far in welterweight tbh, especially since Leon is becoming a better fighter and Shavkat is likely going to be champ after him. It’s possible for Islam, but far from easy.

Personally I think Islam's hardest opponent is going to be Leon. By the time they fight he will have fought Usman 2x, Colby, and Belal. Leon has really turned into an elite grappler with all of the grappling training camps. I think Leon can also comfortably outstrike Islam as well. I think Leon would 49-46 him

I think Islam has all the tools and attributes to demoralise Leon. I think the unbreakable Dagestani mindset will make the biggest difference. Right now I trust Islam to beat anyone he faces, while I don’t trust Leon to beat anyone at all even after his huge and impressive win streak.
