Good pod. AJ was a good gamble, it just didn't work out. the player we could have drafted at 44 probably wasn't going to make the team anyway, so I don't see this situation as loosing anything. do you know the terms of the buyout?

What do you think of the AJ Griffin news and was the trade worth the risk?
I think the Rockets viewed AJ as an additional lottery pick lure for a deal with the Suns this offseason. The Suns have no future high picks at this point...even if they make a trade to get back their picks from the Rockets, but the Suns didn't bite on a deal. I don't think there was room for AJ on the roster and the Rockets knew this would happen if the Sun didn't make a deal over the summer. It was a good gamble. I think the Rockets want KD's 2-year contract to put them over the top and allow Smith to mentor under him. I believe there was room for a 3-team deal that included Green going to the Nets. Your opinion?
We got him for nothing and he didn't look good in Summer League. Now he's posting rapture and Jesus videos and stepping away from basketball. 💀
