@@6210classick That's true, but at least the kash monster is gone so the opponent can't lethal him in the next turn and you can run over patchy with primera.
It would be great if they released a generic Level 12 Synchro monster that doesn't require Crimson Dragon for its summoning. The effect doesn't need to be overpowered either-it could simply be a Level 12 version of s:p little knight
I highly suggest trying out Centurion Raizeol. I threw the two decks together without much thought but they have good synergy, especially with shadow's light
Watching you duel and commentate your duels in Master Duel is legitimately one of my favorite things to do on TH-cam. You're entertaining and I feel like I walk away having learned something. I've been working on trying to pull a Centur-Ion core F2P style, so it was nice see how the deck can play. Shout out to the fellow Tearlaments Best Deck chatter, that was funny.
Because I am not an active Yugioh player, for a long time the only things I knew about Centurion where that they made themselves continuous traps and that they locked their opponents out of the game with King Calamity. So I thought they were a super lame, toxic deck... until I faced one for the first time in Master Duel. The deck was so cool! I think Centurion is a great archetype and I've love to see it played regularly, albeit without cards like Calamity lol.
Quasar can only negate 1 thing against branded, since with turnplayer priority they can get all their effects off before Quasar comes back in the endphase. (also to be mindful in case Mirrorjade destruction effect is active in the endphase, Branded player can delay it once to resolve it with Quasar on the field if the Centur-ion player does not delay Quasar returning to the field themselves; so making it a game of chicken.)
Naturally assuming that it is the branded player's turn. If it is Centur-ion player's turn, Mirrorjade destruction effect can always be timed with Quasar being on the field destroying Quasar.
I've played Centur-Ion in a bunch of different brews, and Fiendsmith just does feel like what the deck wants to excel. White Woods is by far the better pairing with the deck. Like maybe it could replace the Bystial version, but that's always felt like the worse one to me.
Recommendation, at minute 12:02 you could have done the following: -Normal Primera (not active). -Emblem to place Emeth. -Emeth goes up, you synchro 12 Legatia to draw and destroy. -Activate the field, discard, place Trudea, summon her, make effect to lower her and place another Primera, make special summon Primera, activate her effect (just to have more hand). -Activate wake up for token 8, make synchro 12 crimson to bring cosmic blazar.
The deck really is a mid range deck that can be played as combo or control unfortunately it doesn’t have a boss monster in archetype. Copefully they get a boss monster that allows the deck to not need to summon crimson dragon all the time
It would be great if they released a generic Level 12 Synchro monster that doesn't require Crimson Dragon for its summoning. The effect doesn't need to be overpowered either-it could simply be a Level 12 version of s:p little knight
I don’t think there’s necessarily a card you can print that replaces crimson - in any scenario where you can synchro on opponents turn and already have a 12 on board, Blazar or Supernova are likely stronger than anything out there. A better in-archetype payoff would be nice for scenarios where you don’t have the full setup / can benefit from its unique effect, but short of a calamity-style floodgate, there’s not much worth making over an omni/summon negate/battle negate or a full board banish. The new synchro 8 was imo a solid direction to go in - having more engine access makes the deck much less one-note and allows for more creativity.
@@HyroDeFlure Centur-Ion Auxillia is generic and so is the othet. Auxillia makes my Ursarctic deck fricken stupid. Now that Radiation and my perma steal field spell cant be destroyed 🤷♂️
I think the 1 card Centurion really needs is a card thats essentially Auxilla but instead adding a Centurion card it has a solid non-destruction based interruption. Making it interruption thats a interruption without the field spell would solve the decks issues with ending on nothing if the Crimson Dragon is negated and the issue of bypassing destruction protection. My problem with Legatia is that if your a mid-range deck your in archetype interruptions/board breaking options shouldn't be stopped card destruction protection. Making a mid-range deck worse into combo decks simply isn't the play. They could have gave Auxilla a fourth effect that made Auxilla interruption and if they banned Calamity it would be fine because 2+ solid somewhat guaranteed interruptions to combine with hand traps has been the standard for mid-range decks since Swordsoul. Its' simply what a good mid-range deck does. It doesn't fold to combo decks. They take the power they have been given to combat them just like Unchained did with Infernoble and Rescue-Ace.
I've been messing around with Centu-Ion RDA, trying to get the minimal most optimal Centu-Ion cards in since I want to try to get the focus to RDA but without Calamity. It's been so much fun.
It's great and the field spell feels it was made for RDA. I play the minimum engine (3 oath 3 field 1 trap 1 of each monster) + Bystials and spice it up with Duality. Turning Scarred into Raigeki on the opponent's card (tributing Lubellion) is so funny. I wanted to play the Bystial trap that also allows quick synchros but S/T zones get clogged too much
