Pausing to comment early on (and just comment in general) because I had to laugh. 300 days of bright, sunny days… I’m seriously jealous. Here in Scotland we get 300 days of rain! 😂 It’ll start to get dark at about 14:30 shortly - the clouds make the days especially short. I suppose the summers must be unbearably hot there though so I guess that’s the downside.
I’m from Scotland but have lived in Southern California for 30+ years. We get lots of sunshine here too, but I miss Scotland and its rain. My Mom and brother (who live over there) thinks I’m nuts lol
Oh my goodness… just made your cheese sauce, and it’s by far the most tasty cashew cheese sauce I’ve ever had. I had roasted some cauliflower last night for dinner and had leftovers. So for lunch I had the leftovers with some cheese sauce drizzled on top and it was delicious. Thank you for the recipe 😍
Lexx and I did a video on that when he was very small. I think it was one of our first videos, about 7 years ago. Since then, we have tried many cheese sauces to get them lower in calories and nut free, etc. Nothing has ever come close to this cashew cheese sauce. Eventually I stopped trying. Lexx has grown up with this as his cheese sauce on top of soft pretzels, bean burritos, as a queso with chips, etc. Nothing else compares to it. It was one of our very first recipes. So glad that people are discovering it again in the meal prep videos.
One of the many things I miss due to finding out years ago I have a definite gluten problem is seitan. It’s such a great low fat, high protein vegan food.
You have inspired me to go out and get Lupini flakes. I think that is a great alternative. You could even use it to make muffins, etc. to increase your protein intake.
loved the queso and beans! here when the beans are done cooking we take about 1/4 cup of beans and mash them then return to the pot turn the water into cream and it's DELISH, the perfect consistency also Joey's disbelief about the lupini beans lmao thank you for the video guys!

Also fun fact everyone you DON'T have to put holes in sweet potatoes before you bake them...all the delicious juice stays in the potatoes! 🍠
If you noticed, there were no holes in the potatoes. When you do that, all the caramelization leaks out. I never cook them with holes in them.
Thank you for the lupini bean tip!

Great ideas, I wish I could eat more beans, but they give me the wind something fierce!
Can't wait to try the flakes!
Always look forward to your videos on Tuesday morning. Are the bean flakes cooked?
They are dehydrated so I believe they are. I guess they would have to be, right?
I'm Italian, I had lupini beans growing up. They were good. Haven't had them in years. Will have to try them again.

Try replacing paprika with smoked paprika in the Nacho Cheese Sauce
Such a great video, guys!!! I have gotten so many great ideas from you. THANK YOU for all the work you put into your channel ❤
Great cheese sauce...throw some salsa in it for spicy variation. Lupini flakes-cool idea 💡

Yes we did a video on it
The actually Lupini bean is delicious, so hopefully the flakes will be as well
My favorite dads ❤❤
