I've been using regular soap (pH-level 10 or something) on my face as a cleanser and I noticed, that my skin got really bad. It became dry and it started to break out, which never happens actually. I'm not sure, if it really is because of this soap, but I think I'll buy myself some mild facial cleanser

I could use some help with my very dry legs - my face doesn't look/feel dry but oh boy my legs are so very very dry - any suggestions? Currently I use Aveeno and/or Aquaphor. I put a lot on and then wear a pair of leg covering (made for covering a cast to keep it dry when you shower) works great for keeping the cream or ointment off of anything you might brush against.
Hi Mona. I usually do a facial massage, can i do it using vitamin E oil and, at what point of my routine should i do this massage? Im really confused. At the moment Im doing it in the begining of my routine using an oily facial cleanser and, then proceed with the rest. I've noticed that since starting with these massages, my skin feels dry in the morning after i wake up.
I have sensitive skin and sometimes the cheeks areas are dry. I would say use oil-based cleanser and a home-made exfoliator (ie: coffee ground + honey + yogurt). However, you don't want any harsh particle on your exfoliator. Exfoliate no more than once a week.
I have sensitive dry skin as well and I started using The Body Deli blueberry scrub. Very small bits in it that isn’t too harsh but really exfoliates. It’s organic as well!

Dry skin can cause acne too because dead skin can clog your pores, and your face is also try to compensate by producing more sebum. I have extremely dry skin and my worst areas are around my nose and forehead. I'm not acne prone at all, but the only areas that I DO get acne are on my driest areas. I exfoliate those areas more to prevent dead skin from clogging my pores. I don't use any acne treatments though because they're too harsh for dry skin.
