also i have to say i really respect jake gagnes work ethic and drive, when other guys are getting upset and letting things get to them he just picks up the pieces and carries on. it wasnt his domination last season that made me a fan but his ability to stay in there and keep trying when things didn’t go his way this year.

When I was a corner marshal Larry Pegram would often give us a thumbs up, insane wheelie or burn out on the cool off. Great guy. It pleases me to see him place well against these kids.

I remember when Nicky Hayden moved to MotoGP and you could see during...practically his first season that he wasnt holding as quite a tight line in the turns as everyone else, allowing riders behind to stick their front wheel in a get around him at times. His experience with the RC-51 in states was so much different that - as you said - he was able to use all that power to pass in AMA, but in MotoGP was unable to carry corner speed without drifting out and leaving an opening!
