Drake is messy, his proximity to the NBA only allows his toxic ways to bleed into the social structure of the NBA. He’s gone on to sneak diss many NBA players, Ja Morant, Dillion Brooks, DeRozan, James, and several other deep roster players. Toxic is toxic

Honestly, as a huge anti-Drake, I see his relationship with basketball as one of the few things that is truly true about him. But, I could be wrong. Aubrey never gave us anything to believe in in the first place.

I agree that he genuinely likes basketball, but he is the biggest bandwagoner ever and that's obvious.

I think it all ties into his identity crisis (lifelong battle with his self) and his thirst to be seen as cool and a part of something.
Don’t forget his Jimmy Brooks character was a star athlete that ended up with paraplegia and he reportedly went Courtroom Karen back then to somehow force the producers to get his character out of the wheelchair because he thought it would diminish his image as an aspiring rapper.
But yeah he also has a track record of being a big -women’s- high school GIRLS basketball fan, even going back to his first video.🤢
He was also going to Heat games with Wayne before he became Mr. Toronto* so … yeah it just seems he jumps around to whatever “please like me” opportunity he can leech onto at the moment smh
      * I haven’t watched this full video yet so my bad if something i said here is redundant lol

He's an NBA and Toronto fan , yes he's in it for the love of the game. At the billionaire stage he is , everything is a calculated business move.
