Personally, I feel like Cole can bounce back. Unlike Drake, Cole bowing out of the battle is very on line with the person he is. When has Cole ever wanted to be involved in drama? Cole legitimately was trying to run a friendly fade, and it is a testament to his character that he wouldn’t try to diminish K Dot’s success in order to do that. This is a man who sat down with that one rapper, who was throwing shade at him, in order to try to make him see another side of the coin. Now, I love Kendrick, but he had to go there with Drake, because Drake took it there with that line on Push Ups. I think Cole legitimately wanted to keep it on wax, but when he saw the type of time Kendrick and Drake were on, he bowed out not wanting to go to those lengths. Now in the spirit of competitive Hip Hop, he undeniably took a L, but at least Cole can sleep peacefully at night knowing that he stayed true to his character.
