      Welcome to my channel.
yes. I like to live very leisurely, quiet and peacefully in nature.
oh! Mie Prefecture! It's a coastal area with very delicious fish. It may be a little far away, but you can catch a lot of tanago in Lake Biwa, so please give it a try sometime.
      Thanks for your comment😊

you're welcome. The water temperature may still be low in March, but it's warmer and it's a very nice season. Enjoy the spring breeze and nature. Thank you for your support.

    hello sir,
it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Jay, from Canada. I have learned about Tanago fishing roughly, 2 years ago while looking up micro fishing. and fell inlove with the look and traditions of this type of fishing. I am willing and would like to learn more on the gear used and possibly how to make it. For example the rods used (length how meny pieces) and what are those coloured dots on your line? I have so many questions. thank you for your time good sir. as well amazing videos keep up the great work.

      Hi Jay.
Thank you for your respect. I'm not good at English either, so I use Google Translate. My name is TAKA and I am a photographer in Japan. Please feel free to call me Taka. I'm glad that you are interested in Japanese fishing.
Let me answer some questions. The rod used in this video is approximately 80cm long. The length when closed is approximately 24 cm. The bamboo used to make the pole is called "yatake" in Japan. Yatake is a type of bamboo that was used to make arrows for bows in the past. This bamboo is dried for about three years and then carefully crafted by qualified craftsmen. The rods are painted with lacquer and gold leaf, sometimes mixed with shell powder. The yellow particles on the line are for catching fish bites that don't appear on the float. Even if the float doesn't move, you can tell when the line is going diagonally. Please feel free to ask any questions. I'm sure I can answer your question. Good luck to my Canadian friend.
