The fact my kids don’t know a Rochester 2bbl from a Quadrajet, makes me feel as if I have failed as a father. Watching Tommy work his magic with his potato rock gives me hope tho. 🙄
I’m 41 and you guys gave me a 🤯 moment. Putting the oil dry down first is genius. That could’ve have saved me a lot work over the years. Be proactive with the inevitable and make cleanup easier.👍
The factory truck arm suspension hooks pretty good actually. It's like a long ladder bar. Maybe use some pinion ahimsa to set pinion angle but there is a guy on the old 67-82 truck forum that was running 8s with that set up. QA1 also sells a updated kit that has adjustable pinion angle links.
Definitely a big block since it’s a full-size truck with twin turbos for sure I can’t wait for the merch to drop I’m definitely a buyer for this one too! Call it the SRC/10!
A nitrous big block would be awesome. I have a 67 2wd short bed that would look real good sitting next to that in my garage. Can’t wait for the merch to be available.
That was the very first vehicle I ever had fresh out of trade school. I bought it from a friend of the family who raced dirt track cars for $800.00. I absolutely miss that truck! It was really fun to drive. I've always told myself I will have another one. Awesome build you guys will have. I can't wait to see what you all do with it.
Great C10 Guy's, CST- custom sport Truck. The guy did a great job on the paint match after the conversion.Looks like some rust on the upper windshield frame.
Big cube small block with a ProCharger blower. Would be something different and definitely be a killer sleeper. Good to see the falcon close to flying again. Go fast and be safe. God bless you and your family and friends.
It's a great truck! I'd prefer to keep full use of the bed. Do some research on the "truck arm" suspension that's already on that thing. It's been used by NASCAR since the '60s!
I might need to own that c10 so I can gift it to my grandpa he loves drag racing and because he lost his car in a garage fire 4 or 3 years ago that would be a perfect replacement
Definitely turbos in the bed like Canto from texas , cut outs in the bed cover, and exhaust out the back. Would be badass. Tommy my boy you got the right idea for that build.
Now we talkin nice truck looking forward to seeing the build on it please turn the white letters out 😎 thanks so much for all the hard work everyone does to keep us entertained much respect GOD BLESS!!!!!! ✌🏻from Ga.
Looks like I'll be buying more merch! Reminds me of my old 70 chevy short box 4x4 I restored 31 years ago! 383, Dana 60 in the rear, Dana 44 in the front, 410 gears, 205 transfer case, lifted on 35's. She made some pretty serious power back then but I could not find anyone who could build a 350 trans. After the sixth rebuilt trans in 5 years I parted ways with that truck. I absolutely regret letting her go to this day!
I think a pump gas NA big block would be perfect for the truck. Plenty of room. Reliable power that will be easy to maintain for the winner. Just a simple low 11 NA truck would be a perfect giveaway imo.
SBC TURBO! This is one of my bucket list trucks right here! Dont find too many around that are affordable like the 73-87 trucks, got my 76, love to have a 67-72 parked next to it!
What does Chevy CST mean? Custom Sport Truck From 1967 through 1970, the top-of-the-line trim for Chevy C/K trucks was known as Custom Sport Truck, or CST for short. It featured standard bucket seats, matching fully-carpeted cab floor, chrome hood lip and eyebrow moldings, chrome gauge cluster and pedal accents, and many other subtle additions.
Also make some src straw hats. I say small block twin turbo with blow threw carb setup. Make it a sleeper either put the turbos in the bed, under the bed or put a tool box on the truck and put the turbos in it.
I think anything from a 327 to a 396 would be neat. I do love anything LS, I have a few but for THIS truck I like the idea of a conventional small or big block with just electronic ignition and a carburetor 🇺🇸
Put the falcons old turbo ls setup in it all refreshed of course, you already know that setup was dependable, turned down enough to run pump gas or e85 be a fun little street combo in that truck
13:14 brother your AC is those quarter vent windows and if you need more air than that there’s a lever you can pull on the kick panel and it lets more air in
You guys test on the street all the time it's funny as shit literally I'm laughing out loud hearing Tommy say slow down to the guy in the van. When you guys are doing street hits at 130 mile an hour. LMAO.
A perfect candidate for the next build and the way you guys were talking about doing the turbos in the bed with exhaust out the back, definitely is cool.
327 ,edelbrock 2099 kit , with a bog weiner 17-1702. Heads up guys 2014 Ford e350 junk yard dana 60 bolts right in that truck ,comes with 4.10 and disc brakes, snag the alum drive shaft it fits also if motor is slid back
Ohhhhh you totally have our interest on this one! You KNOW we love us an old school S10 build! Good looking honest truck with the potential to be just about anything you could possibly want. We're in! Wanna get that Falcon strapped down on the dyno for a lil extra tunin? We can make room for you boys on the schedule.
Falcon sounds alot better after the adjustment. When Tommy first drove it I could hear it kinda chugging along at part throttle under power sounded fine but that cruise sounded fat. No expert but been tuning sniper and have learned alot about what a motor should sound like when happy. That c10 is screaming for some white letter tires
In going to go for a big block with spray. Build a 496 scat rotating assy, trick flow power port 320's eldebrock super victor, isky hyd roller of course, an atm 1050 and etc. An easy 700 + horse😊 pressures NA. A ţurbo or supercharger would be nice on this setup. Everything y'all do i is bad ass. This is just my 2 cent. Whatever y'all last your hands too gets down, so can't wait to see how y'all do it this time. G God Bless
The fact my kids don’t know a Rochester 2bbl from a Quadrajet, makes me feel as if I have failed as a father.
Watching Tommy work his magic with his potato rock gives me hope tho. 🙄
😂
😂😂😂😂
Lol, you can't be perfect all the time!
Brilliant with the computers though. Remember it’s a new age. You guys crack me up entertain and teach. Great stuff
You can't be to hard in them. But I got a kick out of that too🫡
And I'm a para not a quad😅
If I keep watching this I'm gonna have to get my F-100 out of the storage barn.
I'm calling it now... There's no way in hell that's gonna be a sleeper by the time they're done with it 🤣
CST/10 was the highest trim level in 1969 in the10-series. It stood for Custom Sport Truck
Imagin he handed the old man the rock when he was workin on the carburetor lol😂
That would have been comedy gold. But you know Bill would have been pissed. Which would have made it funnier. 😂
🤣🤣
Billy, Don`t let it go. You need a sweet old C10 daily driver that looks good and sounds sick.
It's pretty cool how Tanner fits so well with you and Tommy.
"Unclear instructions" good work Billy.
It was such beauty 😍 watching a mid- sixties Chevy towing a late 1960's Chevy. It couldn't have been more perfect! Thanks for the video 📸.
The falcon definitely sounds mean as hell!!!
Sound crazy bro.. it's going to be fast for sure.. can't wait to see the car race again
I’m 41 and you guys gave me a 🤯 moment. Putting the oil dry down first is genius. That could’ve have saved me a lot work over the years. Be proactive with the inevitable and make cleanup easier.👍
Old fashion big block-nitrous, farm truck style!
You know this channel and the family is amazing with you skip all the other channels to watch them
Big block for a bigger truck, hell yea. Can't wait for the SRC straw Cowboy hat, small emblems on the sides.
And wider steel wheels and use the same hub caps...... If they'll stay on😂
You should call it Gold Digger. Big block nitrous engine for sure.
A healthy 396 or 454 with a NX plate!!!!🤔🤔🤔🤨💰💰💰💰
Some fat rears with the stock dog dish caps!!! Come on!!!!
Good name for it
@@jasonhastings5538Best wheels ever on a truck
@@jasonhastings5538 I was thinking old school 427
Plus 1 on the 427 with a 150 shot of Jimmy Dale NOS.
3:04 the way he closed that door and one last look with memories going through his mind👌
When Billy told Tommy to get his rock back out.... #priceless
Call it Whiskey Business 🤘
That C10 is sweet,That was one nice find. That long arm coil spring rear rides so nice. Whiskey Bent would be a good name.
We both thought the same name.
That carburetor rocks!
lmfao. Apparently you and I are the only ones who get it.
Tennessee Whiskey is a PERFECT truck name
What did Hank say??!!!!
Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound!!!!👍👍👍👍
CST Custom Sports Truck C10. I had a 3/4 ton that same color back in the day. Nice little truck.
LS swap turbo to beat your dad so he can hate it 😂
400 small block built that would be perfect for the truck
Tommy, you missed the opportunity to name the truck "Rocky" that's my vote
I agree with this
I second this motion for rocky. Heck yeah
Gives "like a rock" new meaning...
The patina on that gold old C10 is freaking awesome! Somebody's going to be lucky duck to get that cool truck.
It's a great truck! I'd prefer to keep full use of the bed.
Do some research on the "truck arm" suspension that's already on that thing. It's been used by NASCAR since the '60s!
There is a lot of support for this type suspension. QA1 makes a nice kit for these trucks.
I might need to own that c10 so I can gift it to my grandpa he loves drag racing and because he lost his car in a garage fire 4 or 3 years ago that would be a perfect replacement
Wow 😲 falcon sounds mean!⚡ C10 should be a fun project!✨
I'm excited for the future of the falcon 💪
Love the truck can’t wait to see what you guys make it
Definitely turbos in the bed like Canto from texas , cut outs in the bed cover, and exhaust out the back. Would be badass. Tommy my boy you got the right idea for that build.
SBC with all the SRC loving!
I hope it opens up to Canadians for this one.
That is a dual jet 2 barrel carb! Nice truck
Figured that out after I took it off the truck lol
I would love to win that truck. Great video. Go big, y'all!
would be nice to see a nitrous combo, since the last truck was turbo
The a/c was both windows down and the flip out windows turned in enjoying the breeze. Thanks for the video an can't wait to see it come together
Now we talkin nice truck looking forward to seeing the build on it please turn the white letters out 😎 thanks so much for all the hard work everyone does to keep us entertained much respect GOD BLESS!!!!!! ✌🏻from Ga.
The rock deal made me bust out laught!! Can't wait to watch the build!
Should put a roots blower on it. So thing different
Thats a sweet truck Billy. I really think you should keep that one and make a REAL BAD ASS sleeper.
Tanner Ghetto fogging the CST10 gave me early James Taal vibes.
Beautiful c10, had me a 71 exactly like it with a 350-30 over with a 650cfm holly on it, was a very fun truck, awesome find there Billy 👍
Have the Old Man sign the rock and make it part of the give away(so the truck comes with it's own carb adjusting tool)😂.
Gr8 idea 😂😂😂😂
Start selling rocks on the website and call them Carb Adjusters
Watching Tanner stand there with the screwdriver as the old man looks at the carb had me rolling. Put a nitrous small block in the truck.
Perfect truck for bucket seats and a bottle in the middle next to the new floor shifter
The next one do a Ford F100 70- 73 short Bed I do like the C10 it will be nice with the SRC touch I am in it need LS
Literally scrapped Cleetus' video as soon as I saw this!
And it looks like Billy just posted one
Same
Yea because it's an update video
Me too!!!!!
OMG! Me 2. 😂😂😂
Looks like I'll be buying more merch!

8:00 CST. Custom Sport Truck
Billy put some white wall tires on it and I’m thinking a 400 SBC with turbos old school cool
“Get your rock back out” hahaha😂
I think a pump gas NA big block would be perfect for the truck. Plenty of room. Reliable power that will be easy to maintain for the winner. Just a simple low 11 NA truck would be a perfect giveaway imo.
Big block all the way
SBC TURBO! This is one of my bucket list trucks right here! Dont find too many around that are affordable like the 73-87 trucks, got my 76, love to have a 67-72 parked next to it!
The SRC10 is perfect and the turbos in the bed with the pipes out the back would be bad ass with a bed cover I’m definitely in for this one
Love the idea of bed mounted turbos. Would love to see a turbo big block that would be sick
Small block with turbos. I am still a carb fan like your dad too. Keep it blow through
Definitely a sweet little truck. Scuba Steve just hanging by the fender with the screwdriver and waiting was 👌
What does Chevy CST mean?
Custom Sport Truck
From 1967 through 1970, the top-of-the-line trim for Chevy C/K trucks was known as Custom Sport Truck, or CST for short. It featured standard bucket seats, matching fully-carpeted cab floor, chrome hood lip and eyebrow moldings, chrome gauge cluster and pedal accents, and many other subtle additions.
I was thinking the same thing. Where's the original buckets😒😒
Its funny I always thought it was short for "custom" learned something today, ST=sport truck.
Nice C 10 that's some Old School, with your mods is going to be a Great time
Thanx for Sharing your experience and thoughts 😊
Also make some src straw hats. I say small block twin turbo with blow threw carb setup. Make it a sleeper either put the turbos in the bed, under the bed or put a tool box on the truck and put the turbos in it.
Sr has forgotten more about tuning carbs than the rest of us will ever learn. It’s always a pleasure seeing a master of his craft at work. 👍🏼
I think anything from a 327 to a 396 would be neat. I do love anything LS, I have a few but for THIS truck I like the idea of a conventional small or big block with just electronic ignition and a carburetor 🇺🇸
That falcon sounds good. Ready to rumble. The C 10 is in need of paint job ,yet it's cool as a shop.truck.
i cant lie... love that truck... just had me searching for C10's near me for over an hour...
I’m a Chevy guy but have a soft spot for falcon
S ….. I had a 63 and my buddy Rob called it “ falcy “ ….. this dudes car is just so right !!!!
Beautiful truck. Keep it sleeper for sure, after that you can do anything with it. Should be a great project
Grew up driving a 69 Blazer, same body style, brings bangs back many memories! CST, I think means Country, Street, and Trail!!!
I mentioned doing a c10.badass to see. A procharged 6.0 would be pretty cool in there
Anyway you go with that truck will be unbelievable. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Very cool truck it’s gonna be awesome!!! Falcon will flat out fly!!!
Nice Truck. You have awesome taste in selecting your give away vehicles. I think this one will be the best so far.
I love this truck. Guy looks like he did a great job on it.
Put the falcons old turbo ls setup in it all refreshed of course, you already know that setup was dependable, turned down enough to run pump gas or e85 be a fun little street combo in that truck
13:14 brother your AC is those quarter vent windows and if you need more air than that there’s a lever you can pull on the kick panel and it lets more air in
I know this will get some love But, It may be a Rochester, but it ain't no Quadrajet gentlemen!❤
You guys test on the street all the time it's funny as shit literally I'm laughing out loud hearing Tommy say slow down to the guy in the van. When you guys are doing street hits at 130 mile an hour. LMAO.
Love the new truck, big black, twin turbo powerglide, 468 big block with nitrous to spool the turbo up
Please keep this truck at SRC !!!💪🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It’s going to be cool can’t wait to see what direction yall take ( Turbos )
A perfect candidate for the next build and the way you guys were talking about doing the turbos in the bed with exhaust out the back, definitely is cool.
327 ,edelbrock 2099 kit , with a
bog weiner 17-1702.
Heads up guys 2014 Ford e350 junk yard dana 60 bolts right in that truck ,comes with 4.10 and disc brakes, snag the alum drive shaft it fits also if motor is slid back
As clean as it is I think a nice clean
LS set up. Really clean wiring harness under the hood. Holley terminator or something
That C10 is awesome! Being from Europe its a shame they didnt sell these in my country.
Very cool truck !!! And I'm with you on the wheels, they make it
Like Tommy said gone fishing lol
I think a turbo big block in this truck would be awesome. It would be quiet (comparatively) and make one hell of a sleeper.
468 big block if you go with a bbc those are power houses 14.1. Compression 1150 carb nos 250 shot we ran that in are truck awesome power

Fat white walls would look cool too
Down and brown ...., I'm going to win it..... Love all you guys
Moonshine for the win! Small block lots of boost,
In going to go for a big block with spray. I like the farm truck idea. Lots of cubic inches and 4 stages of nitrous
