Seems like the best thing about Legion: Legend of Excalibur is the Intro cutscene

La Pucelle Tactics is also a neat game. Pretty good art, but its a fun strat game similar to Vandall Hearts

Oh nice. I haven’t heard of that one. I like a strategy game when I have the time to play them 😅

When it comes to the letter L, the first two Legend Of Spyro games are short, yet sweet, especially the first one. However, the Legacy of Kain games released during this era (ESPECIALLY Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance) definitely fit the PS2 Forgotten Games bill well.

Legacy of Kain series is one of my all time favorite game series. I have all the games. I also have LA rush and it's pretty good. Looney Tunes looks fun as well. I've never played any of the other games in the video. You're on a roll Bros thanks for the video.

Oh nice. Yeah I have the fourth game on the GameCube and played through most of it a couple of years back. Might do a video just on that series nearer Halloween.

I actually do own The Legend of Kay, the PS4 version lol. I even got the plat. I really enjoyed it. I love 3D platformers and missed out on the original PS2 version so I bought the PS4 version when it came out. It's a pretty fun game.

Cool, you ended up doing Legaia 2 anyway! Glad it wasn't torture. I played it on a demo as a kid and thought guessing the button combos was addictive, and only managed to find the game until recently to enjoy it.

As a big Survival Horror fan, Lifeline sounds both amazing and infuriating. I think I might have to check it out. I'd never even heard of it before.

Yeah it is actually pretty good. I love survival horrors (and horror in general) so anything like that is pretty interesting to me.

Another good list. Luxor is a fun simple game that I played a decent amount on PSP. Lumines is one of the best puzzle games out there, second maybe only to Tetris in my opinion. I bought Legend of Kay HD on the PS3 a while back and never got around playing it, but maybe one day. Lifeline is definitely very unique because it's fully voice controlled and I don't think there's another game like that on the PS2 or maybe even any other console. I finished it back in the day on the PS2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. You're right you do feel immersed in the gameplay because you're speaking with the main character, and I remember that in times of danger I'd catch myself talking to the her with a sense of urgency in my tone of voice, which sometimes wouldn't help with voice recognition.

Oh wow. I didn’t expect anyone else to have played Luxor 😅. Definitely give Legend of Kay a try. It’s really good.
It’s a shame there weren’t more games like Lifeline. The closest I’ve played is probably Binary Domain on Xbox 360. It’s not all controlled like that. But you can give your team mates commands just by talking through a headset. Plus it’s an awesome game.

@@thereviewsbrothers3854 Binary Domain is a really good one. Kind of what a Terminator game should be like. I played through on my PC back in the day, but didn’t use the mic. Recently bought a physical copy for X360 and plan to play through it. Might use the mic, now that you reminded me of that feature.

I thought everyone owned five copies of each of them already so didn’t include them.

As a fellow Brit, I’m surprised you didn’t mention _Knightmare_ when talking about _Lifeline_ :)

Legaia 1 is supposed to be even better than the second although both are good. And LIFELINE - I remember thinking this game looked so damn cool as a kid but I didn't own a PS2. I really want to get it working on emulation now because it looks like nothing less than one of the coolest survival RPG genre mash-ups of all time. So you can confirm it works with a PC mic on PCSX2?

Nice. Definitely give it a go. I played it on my steam deck through pcsx2. Just make sure you go in the settings and under controllers, select one of the ps2 usb ports and choose the headset. Worked fine for me.
