@@frenchycs2677 enel leader ability requires you to trash the "card" after the life is added, so if u got no cards left u still get a life. the 1 card trashed was the cost for using the 0event trigger which can be layered (chosen to happen) first because the effects happen simultaneously

How did you gain another life if you used the 0 counter trigger?
@@zoro3898 my leader ability is mandatory when I first hit 0 life. So they both happen at once and I go back to 2
