Abrahm knows the name YHWH! the Bible says it clearly! But he didn't know that it was the covenant name with which God revealed Himself to his descendants!
In Exodus 6, God explains to Moses that the name of the covenant God is “YHVH.” One should not conclude from this that Abraham did not know the name YHVH. He knew it and used it, but God had not introduced himself to him by that name.
@@Hannestv4607 sorry sir over here we speak with evidence. The Bible says prove all things 1 thessalonians 5:21 , Quran says, produce your proofs if you are verdic. So my proof is exodus 6:2-3 By my name Yahweh I wasn’t know to them. The verse doesn’t say anything about covenant. If you have a verse that says what you trying to assert bring it forth.

this is what happens when Muslims read the bible with out context you all think you find some thing to talk about while no one knows "allah" name.
Let's deal with the text, Firstly if you had read the text you woukd have seen that 3 main points.
1. Moses grew up in Pharoah house an did not know who Yahweh was nor his name three chapters before.
2. The very text your quoting has one main important word that you missed "appeared to" Was yaweh lieing when he said he appeared to Abraham, Issac an Jacob? And did he introduce himself as "El Shadday" "God almighty "? for example Gen 17:1. Now if you understood Jewish Name customs you would know that names an experiences go together....Yahweh told Abram he was the "Almighty God" because of what he was going to do an what he promised Abraham to inherit the land that he was a stranger an he would be a father of many nations although he had no child has yet. In Ex 6 God is relating to Moses what he was going to do to Pharoah just has he did for Abraham, Issac and Jacob as " El Shadday".
3. the Hebrew word "know" or "yada" in the context is not to mean unknowing his name was " Yaweh" but that they were acquainted with Yaweh mighty Power or him being "El Shadday"

Now exodus 6:2-3 god is speaking to Moses 100 of years after Jacob & say by the name YAHWEH, he was not נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי. It’s hard but sometimes, you have to leave emotions & accept the truth when it’s in front of your nose.
Moses did not go to the burning bush as a child. According to our tradition he was 40 & according to your tradition he was 80. So he been around the people of god as a leader of men to know the name.
Gen 17:1 that prophecy was never fulfilled by Isaac pbh. It’s already been accomplished by Ismael where all that land was conquered from the river to the sea. Until today all those lands are Muslim except for a small portion. And it’s going to go back to us again inchallah.
Whose is Allan? Allah is a proper name. That’s why it’s never translated. If you become Muslim inchallah, the shahada says LA ILA there is no other god then the name ALLAH. Allah doesn’t have masculine or feminine or plural. Like the word god can become goddess or gods. It’s god’s real name. And he gave us 99 Names but Yahweh ain’t 1.

Very interesting although I'm an Hebrew speaker and in 10:55 You have a mistake - in the next verse (Exodus 3:15) God literally tells Moses the tetragrammaton name, after the "I AM" phrase.

To continue our discussion but please do not be so scared to pin this message. disregarding the time of noah, we all know that the quran claimed that all the prophets and their decendants were muslims and also claimed that ancient israel was a muslim country. now from abraham alone until the time of isa is more than 2000 years but there ZERO archeological and historical evidence of existance islam while from the time of mohammad until the present day it was only less than 2000 years but islam population reach upto billions. we all know that the present day iraq was called mesopotamia and babylon, iran was persia, the megiddo exist until today, the city of shechem or tell balata, the city of uruk, the ur and ziggurat of ur, the capernaum synagogue, the sea of galilee, the land of canaan in present day israel, the nineveh and etc. but the fabricated stories of the supposed most important place in islam and muslims that the temple mount was called masjid al aqsa by abraham and the early people of israel was never written in the history and zero archeological evidence.

As far as the people of Abraham Quran state that Abraham debated about the sun, the moon & especially Venus which is the brightest start & Ibn kathir even mentions it. Bible just mentioned the worship many gods. But the juicy details backed by archaeology is in the Quran Surat 6:74-79

God is known by many names El Gibbor meaning mighty warrior God, El Saddai, Yaweh meaning Lord, Ehyeh aser Ehyeh meaning I AM that I AM / I will be what I will be. El Elyon meaning God most High in Aramaic the tongue Yeshua, Isho . Baal means Lord in Hebraic. They use Yaweh because it's the most known name of God.
